losing credit points? anyone from mylot ever said why?

Myself, along ith many other mylotians are losing points everytime we log in. Now, i dont know about you, but I dont answer discussions that break the rules, nor do i answer many people off my friends list. Wouldnt it be a good idea if mylot explained why we lose each point? just a thought

I haven't been keeping an eye on my points. But I will do so now. I think there ought to be an explanation why, if you lose points, otherwise how can we know if we are breaking the rules. Could it a glitch in the system? If a human being is taking the trouble to deduct points, then it would be nice if he/she would take the trouble to explain, even if it is by some sort of auto-response that says.. "such and such a member" has reported you for violating "whatever" rule and points have been deducted. At least then we could go to the "offending" post and see what we have done wrong. It shouldn't be too hard to set up for a someone who is capable of setting up a site like mylot.. If we lose point, does it effect our earning capacity? OK.. I know, go and read the FAQs... LOL

yes my friend, to every point you rase. I feel mylot dont always want us to know why these posts are deleted maybe thats why we are not told

Well, my points started off at 428 when I started on here an hour and a half ago, now they are at 433, so they are climbing. I will write it down each evening. I am looking forward to passing the 500 so I can type some of my posts in Word with spell-checker etc. and then paste them here. As I do tend to get carried away on some posts and hit wrong keys! At least I didn't do that as a musician - LOL. On here, it's almost like automatic writing sometimes! LOL.

Yes Sweetie it would be again last night while I was posting I lost another 6
But so many People now including myself have asked and are not getting an answer so I guess yours mine and anyone elses Discussion about this will be deleted soon
I just give up now trying to figure it out

So do I EsKaren and I wish that all our Friends would come on more,I am actually surprised that mine is still is there to be honest but we will have to see lol
I just wish that they would tell us
I know cleaning up is great but if at least they would explain where I have lost 60 so far
I don't even look anymore all the time

Wouldn't that be nice for myLot to respond to our discussions about earnings. I have written to them several times with no response on the same subject. I am still waiting for a response to an email on how last week I responded to 32 discussions and did not get credit for one, it was awful to continue to respond to discussions and not have your number go up.

that truely would have scared me. Mine go up, then i go to bed. When i get up and check, it is almost always lower than when i left it. It would be nice if we had notification saying why each point is lost

Hello,eskarena,i think it is a hot topic which everyone is discussing everyday and evert should have the same experience about it,personally i also lost 20 posts or more in this week,i cannot remember which replies have been removed.As from the explanation of mylot,they said discussions which had violated the discussion rules were removed everyday and those replies were also removed,that was the reason why our post numbers reduced everyday,but I think the explanation is not clear enough.

As far as I can tell I've never lost points...but I don't "log in" since I don't log out...could that be the secret..just don't log out???

yes, it happens to me everytime i log in as well and i don't know why... it has been happening to me for quite sometime now and i never really try to find out the reason why... i lose about 5 points everytime i log in... i also hope that somebody can explain to me why it happened...

I know I lost my fair share of them and when it happens I check the last couple of days responses but so far haven't seen any losses from there. I have noticed that even though my points have gone down my earnings haven't. I'm thinking it's more with their server then anything else. Perhaps deleting really old discussions or maybe removing inactive members? It would be nice though not the have to figure it out on our own and get an answer on it.

I appear to have been one of the lucky ones in that I haven't had any discussions deleted yet or lost any points, but it can only be a matter of time.
I honestly have no idea whats going on. Usually if this were a bug in their system, Mylot would have let us know that they were having technical difficulties.
It stands to reason then, that they must be deleting discussions, but nobody is getting any answers. It would be great if Mylot at least told us why all of a sudden they're coming down so hard on members.
Some of the members have been here a long time with a lot of points under their belts. Now they're losing them. It's getting to the point where Mylot are losing members and losing them fast!

yes I also do lose some points whenever I log in here in mylot. I have noticed it earlier when I still have my 800+ points. I can't seem to figure why it happens. When experimenting on the discussions here in mylot, mylot did not even allowed me to do so, it deleted that specific discussion right away. Now, I can't find a good reason for them to do it. do they have a secret that they don't want the mylot people to know? many mysteries are being fed up by mylot and they're becoming mysterious as days go on.

yes,i also lose my points.i don't know why.everything goes well,i post my responses and start my discussion,and have no mistake to do in mylot,it maybe i have many spelling words mistake.and have no good quality of my responses.i think those mistake is caused my losing credit points.
