in our modern world today, all of the gadgets and stuffs that we use on a day to day basis seems to be in connection with electricity. i was just wondering if you are making ways to save or conserve electricity? as for me, i am really trying my best to save electrcity because my mom keeps on complaining about the high fee of electric bill which arrive at our mailbox every month. :P

yes, we should always be mindful about our apliances and keep checking them if they are on but not in use. if thats the case, we should switch off appliances as much as possible. :)

Well i do make efforts sometimes to save electricity, since in a country like mine, where electricity is cut continuously, it is a great commodity.
It can be saved in many manners, like we must remember to switch off the tube-light and fan, everytime we leave the room.

I have always worked and canvassed for conserving electricity and not wasting it at all. People find this somewhat unacceptable because they feel we should not worry so much.
It is not a question of saving money but a matter of wasting energy that is so precious. It just takes little effort to switch off a light that is not required for a while. Or, swith off a fan, if you are not going to be there for some time.
If we reduce wastage of electricity, it would be cheaper to produce goods and that would benefit all.

yes, i agree with you. a simple act of responsibilty, like switching or turning off any electric thingy would really do a lot of good to all of us. :)

I try really hard to conserve electricity both to save money and to help the environment. I don't turn on lights and aplicances when I don't need them and I use energy saving lightbulbs etc.

Yes, I do. thanks for asking this question. Whenever there are unnecessary lights that are not put off, I make it a point to put them off, simply to save on electricity. These days, we need all the money that we can save because times are difficult now. It's really imperative to save anything, especially electricity. Cutting on our electric consumption is a way of saving, not only for ourselves, but also for our country.

you know why i asked this question, its because lately, my mom has been bothered by the shooting fee of our electric bill! she tells us that we should be vigilant in turning of apliances and lights when they're not in use. it would be better for us and our country, and in general, the world. just like a chain reaction. im glad to know a lot of people care about electricity.

I do make efforts to conserve electricity. The electricity bills continue to climb and I believe this will just get worse as time goes on. There are a number of ways to save on electricity...low watt bulbs, turning off appliances, turning down the thermosat etc... However, I have found that turning off the hot water tap to the washing machine works absolutely the best!
