In stead of Microsoft Office I use Open Office. It's free and works every bit as good as Microsoft Office.
My OS is XP.
Tried Firefox for a while but it had a nasty habit of freezing + some sites looked strange, so I decided to go back to IE.
I like to use KompoZer when I design web pages. It's easy to use and free.

I am using Windows XP and Win98se operating system. For word processing, I use Microsoft Office 2003. Its an ultimate package. For animation process, I mean for begginers..or slight job, I use Powerpoint. But for great I mean for detailed or complicated work, Macromedia Flash is good. Photoshop is one of the best tools for photo editing. other software includes Antiviruses. Pc Cillin is the best I suppose. Among Browsers, Morzilla Firefox is good, Though its a bit slow, else IE is very good.

I run a double OS. Windows XP Home and Kubuntu Feisty Desktop.
I use the Kubuntu Feisty Desktop primarily and it's fleet of software because it is all free. I do this for several reasons.
One, I am low income. Paying through the nose to protect myself from creeps on the net gets real expensive really fast. Most Linux software is as good as it's Microsoft counterpart.
Microsoft is focusing on DRM while Linux is focusing on usability.
Linux is not as vulnerable to spyware, malware, and viruses as Windows.
I still have a copy of Windows XP Home. I keep it because it came with my computer. It runs my old Windows software that came with my computer that is still usable. I do not get mail while in Windows. That is just begging for a virus or other crap.
