What is your knock?

Actually in our place, we don't knock when we go to a neighbor's house or somebody else's house. We just call out and say "Hello" or "Is there anybody home?" (In our language "Tao po!"). Of course if the house happens to have a doorbell, then we just use those. I only knock when I go into someone else's room (my parents' or my brother's or sister's) in our house and its just an ordinary knock. (I guess I just don't know how to express myself through knocking :) I do pound on the bathroom's door though when I'm in a hurry and whoever is in there takes too long doing whatever it is they're doing (so I guess that's one way of expressing my anger). LOL! :D

Most of our neighbors have doorbells so I'd rather go DING DONG! lol..but if I had to knock I never bang on doors till one comes out instead, i'd go dO dO dO....(no response)...DO DO DO!! And am sure after hearing my last three (loud) knocks, the door is opened. :)

I go bang bang bang. Its not a special knock it just serves its purpose. My brother in law you can tell his knock because he keeps banging about 10 times until you think he is just going to not stop knocking until you get to the door lol. My mother has a special code knock as well. People are weird lol.
