Yeah i thought about that as well; thats a great idea!!!! A money tree... They like to be placed inside the house and also you can add a bonzai! Its a very posh plant and with time you can cut it into different shapes and forms!!! By the way; a money plant is a very lucky one and as far as i know, in my country when the money plant give flowers that means all your luck are very favourable in terms of money and it smells really nice! my mum has got one and her plant gave flowers and some days later, she got a promotion in her job... dont you think its great? Now i will give you another idea: put some lucky bamboos... you place them in cryctal clear vase and in the bottom you can add some decorations; like some sands or rocks or some crystals coloured balls... I do have these at home and all the people who comes at my place, always compliment me for my lucky bamboos!

I noticed someone else already mentioned Christmas Cactus; but I'll bring it up again anyway. I have so enjoyed mine as it blooms at the oddest times (certainly not at Christmas as the name implies). Mine sits in cactus preferred soil and indirect sunlight. The pot sits in a saucer which I fill with water every couple of weeks. I think this would be the perfect office plant for another reason. You don't have to transplant the plant as often as non-cactus plants because this plant prefers a smaller tight rooting area. Just keep the leaves dusted off (a slightly damp rag will do). Let us know what you finally decide.

Good day My wife has tried a number of plants in the office and managed to kill them all, but then I gave here a little terrariam with sand and catus, it is still haning in there and it is now many years later. So that sounds like a plan to me.

I've only just started doing this in the office myself. I buy potted plants that are in season so it flowers after a couple of weeks or so after taking to the office. I brought fuchsia 2 months ago. The flower's gone now so I transferred the bulbs in my garden. I have some daisies at the moment. I'm sure to change that too when the flowers have gone. I find it more relaxing with a plant somewhere in my room. :o)

I have a yucca plant in my office. I like it a lot, I have it four years now. It is nice and green and does not need much attention. I bought it small and have repotted it twice and it is a medium size plant now. It had three stems and is growing a fourth now. Exept that I water it occasionally and have fertilized it very seldom this plant does not need much attention. It doesn not mind if I go for a trip for a couple of days or when I am not there for the week-end.

You can always have a cactus plant. I used to have a christmas cactus on my desk. How light is your office? You can always have african violets. Those are my favorites. If you go for the african violets, make sure you water from the bottom, don't water the soil.

I suggest you aglonema. Aglonema is a big family. But this plant doesn't have beautiful flower but have beautiful leaves. For example Praid of Sumatra, Lady Valentine. You can take Anthurium as indoor plant. Anthurium is also big family. Some plants in this family have flower. But this plant is very unic. Each leaf have own root. So, try to have them.
