I come from a large family not as large as yours but a good size and we are all close. I only have a brother but my mom has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. I would like to have a large family. I know it will be hard to raise with little money but you do what you have to do. I want my kids to be there for each other.

I perfer a large family... I was raised in a large family and there was never a dull moment... My mother had a total of 6 kids and her mother had 12, and her brother and sisters had about the same so My family is huge... I just love togetherness and even though we don't always get along you know there is love there... I can always go to family when ever there are problems... I can remember times when my big brother would stick up for me when kids would tease me or try to pick with me... family gatherings where all your cousins get together and there may be a argument but at the end of the day you new everything was going to be ok... I love that... there is nothing like having a big family, to share your life time experiences with

Well I come from a small family. My mom has two brothers, my dad has a brother and sister, and I only have a brother. So I am used to the small family life. Having a small family gives you the feeling of closeness and I think makes it easier to keep in touch with everyone. But now that I am married I also have the joys of a big family. My husband is the youngest out of 5 kids. His parents also have lots of brothers and sisters. Normally at holidays there are anywhere from 20 to 30 of us at one house. So I am going to have to choose both.

I come from a big family. There are 10 of us in the family. I think I prefer big family because when it comes to gathering, it is a lot of fun.

My parents were both raised in big families. My dad had 7 other siblings, making them 8 in all, and my mom, they were 10 siblings in all. So I have a lot of cousins. But my immediate family is small. It's only me any my brother. I don't want a really big family if I have one of my own. I don't want it to be too small either. I think about 3 kids would be the best. 2 the least. 5 at most. I don't want my kids to be lonely...

I would ratehr have a small family. I feel like in a way I can be closer to less children than more. Plus, I want to give my kids everything possible to helpe them succeed and I feel financial we woudl struggle with a large family. Even if I became rich though I would not want a large family because I love my daughter, but right now she is lucky if she gets a brother or sister becasue she is like 3 kids in 1.

i think that depends in one's economic disposition. it is good to have a large family, however, if the parents are unable to spend quality time with each child, and would have to spend more time earning money to put food on the table, then perhaps it would be best to have a small family. but if i could have things my way, i want a big family, supposing i'll be a billionaire someday. =)

I would prefer small family with 2-3 kids coz I would like to provide better life to my kids. I would not want them to go through all the hardships I've been through when I was small like selling ice candy and B-B-Q in school for baon. I was born in family of 7 and things weren't easy at all.

Well, for me it depends. If I can raised and support a large family why not. But if you have limited income I prefer to build a small family so that you can support well the needs to your family.

I don't like big family living together. I've got many brothers and sisters too. But luckily we don't live together since very young age. I've witnessed many families with lots of brothers and sisters together quarrelled, argued or even fought with each other and I was astonished to find they became enemies instead of siblings when they grew up and got married.

I love a large family, when you grow up you have your own sisters and brothers family when you go anytime, for breakfast, lunch and dinner without prior appointment When you have any function we are all together. During young days it is a different story, we dont must understand a lot of childish fights happens but it is only for a short time, then it is forgotten, again good friends.

I prefer a large family because there the best when the holidays come around. The whole family is together and you sit around and reminisce about things that have occured in the family. When you have a big family theres always people to be there for you when times get hard cuz we all know they do. Right now I have a small family but I would love to extend it..maybe adopt some kids.

What is the definition of a small family? If it is 3 children or less then I go for myself small family. But my mother had 9 brothers and sister and my father had 13 and most of his brothers and sisters had 5 or more children i have 6 brothers and sisters myself i am the youngest and i acually was only raised with one sister, and growing up i grew up around the entire brood of aunts, uncles, and cousins, but since i have met my hubby i am limited to my mom, sister, 1 aunt, and my mom in law and sister in law and her daughter, and i acually prefere that over all the comotion and drama of the large extended family.

I was raised in a small family , (me being the only child) and i must say I have enjoyed it greatly. Sure there were times around the ages of 7-11 where I wished for a brother or sister but actaully I think it turned out better in the end by being the only child. I was priveliged to be able to go to private schools and take large vacations to europe and mexico. It would be much harder to do that with a large family simply because of cost, and then toppled by expensive childcare. Christmas was also very nice being the only child. Even though I may have recieved alot, alot more is expected of you because you are your parents "once chance" so you obtain and put on many responsibilites which others would consider "before your time."
