I was in the store the other day and we live in a very small town so every one knows everyone else and when they last ummm.. well sneezed. Any how, there is a young girl still in high school pregnant. My daughter points her out to me. I was shocked at my daoughter's conviction in her voice. I was only about 6 months older than she is when I became pregnant with her. She is about to be 15 yrs.
My daughter knows the story, God knows I've had the "talk" with her ongoing since she hit puberty (early age 9).
I thank God for my mother's support then and now, I thank God for being in a larger city through that time too. I cannot imagine the hellish glares this girl faces at her school or everywhere else she goes.
I faced them too but I think that they were probably on a lesser scale. People tend to be oblivious to each other in the city.
check out my story on http://www.helpanother.blogspot.com and be curtious to that teen mom. She will face enough with out your judgement. Also if you are a teen mom, I have listed some links to get help with every thing to support and financial on that site.

I am surprised that in this day and age, people are still so judgemental. I think we see how much smarter this generation is then we were in so many ways that I think they expect that kids know how to prevent things like pregnancy.
Unfortunately, I think they are a victim of their hormones and their youth and mistakes are made.
I guess that people should be upset about the act and not be upset at the person, everyone makes mistakes.

I agree Deb, hormones are very hard to control even for teens who know better! It is a shame that we judge and convict much quicker and easier than we will offer a hand. that's the shame in it all.
