Would You Tell your Child They Can't Sing?

My 15 yr old daughter thinks she can sing great. I think she is OK but definatly not Idol material. Should I break the news? I don't think she would embarass herself on there, but she is seriously planning on competing and I don't...

lullabell This has been my idea and approach. She is pretty good, she gets solos in choir almost every year and has competed in a county wide solo fest. the kids sing individually and get rated by teachers. She did well, but I just didn't want to see her get hurt, yeah...

How do you sneak in excercise every day?

I try to do squats as I fold clothes coming out of the dryer and lunges as I sweep. Another trick I use is standing instead of sitting whenever possible. Do you have any other tricks I can use?

lullabell Yep this is basically my theory on thewhole topic, I just didn't have a "label" for it, thanks. "exaggerating every movement". I would walk every where too, but we live in the middle of the woods on a dirt raod hill and in the center of a farm! talk about...

lullabell Oh I love it! Thanks, I used to do this with my oldest, (she's now 15) I forgot. It's a great way to keep tabs on the toddler while trying to excersise!

lullabell Thanks so much. I took your advice and this worked great. I had some peroxide and neosporin these were fine. I was waiting to see if he'd become infected, but no sign. the poor thing is half blind and probably walked right up to the porcupine!

lullabell No I haven't ever checked those sites, thanks. Yeah we eat alot of "rollover" chicken recipes too. like you said you only need a little bit of left over chicken in all of those. thanks!

lullabell no we haven't it sounds good though! My 7 year old is very picky when it comes to food "all mixed up" This leads to me makeing his seperate and groans from the hubby that "he had to eat what was made for dinner" Thanks
