Hi!, Here's a site that might be of some help. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu7YQZVpGO24A2RFXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTB2b2gzdDdtBGNvbG8DZQRsA1dTMQRwb3MDMQRzZWMDc3IEdnRpZAM-/SIG=11hph6icn/EXP=1180415632/**http%3a//www.frugalcooking.com/
I also like a sight www.fbnr.com ,http://extension.unh.edu/Pubs/PubsFN/QuickEMB.pdf You don't have to use brand names in the recipes even though they may call for it. My mom makes chili, meatloafs, chicken dumpling, because you have to have just a lil bit of chicken to make a whole kettle of it and it is good. Well it is if you are into that sort of thing anyhow. Well I hope the site help some.

No I haven't ever checked those sites, thanks. Yeah we eat alot of "rollover" chicken recipes too. like you said you only need a little bit of left over chicken in all of those. thanks!

Corned Beef Hash A La Adrenochrome;
2 tins of baked beans
1 tin of corned beef
Warm through in a pan until it has become a sludge.
Add 1 chopped onion, a big sppon of mustard, and a splash of Worcester Sauce (or tabasco, etc).
Pour mixture into an oven dish.
Add a thick topping of mashed potato, and cook at gas mark 5 for thirty minutes.
This dish can be reheated.
Cheap but yummy. All the best.

some ground beef, and some macaroni and cheese, works everytime, good meal, inexpensive! Depending on the meat you buy and the kind of mac and cheese you use, I usually use the shells and cheese, but the store brand of shells and cheese is a lot cheaper.

HI I learned a recipe off a friend which I absolutely love and is very cheap to make, I am in Australia and I dont know where you are and how expensive things are where you are but all this recipe involves is making up hamburgers, I use minced (I think it is called ground meat or something elsewhere) beef, carrot, onion, bread crumbs, an egg, but you can use what ever you use, you make them up leaving them quite round, brown them in a frying pan, while doing this make up a gravy and put it in a casserole dish then drop the hamburgers in the gravy and cook for about an hour to an hour and a half, then serve with vegetables. I havent had any complaints about this recipe and my partner is a really picky eater

What I like to do because it's cheap because most of the ingredients are already in the fridge is pasta with a homemade white sauce.
2tbls. of flour
2tbls. of butter
melt together slowly so it doesn't burn. Heat until it is melted and blended.
SLOWLY add 2 cups of milk and stir until all chunks are gone and sauce has thickened. Add a touch more flour if necessary.
Pour over Pasta with peas, broccali or whatever vegetables you have and serve.
Cheap and good.

Have you tried potato tot casserole. All you need is some ground hamburger, tater tots, and cream of mushroom soup. Brown the hamburger up and place as a layer on the bottom of a casserole dish. Then put a layer of tator tots and then a layer of cream of mushroom soup. You can put some shredded cheddar cheese on top if you would like. Cover nad bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about thirty minutes.
How about chili mac? Just cook up some macaroni and add a coouple of cans of chili. You cn also add some shredded cheese on top.
