which do you prefer: landline or cell phone?

I prefer only cellphone than landline easy to carry easy to call easy to attend any emergency calls and thats y i like cellphones than mobiles easy to communicate.

I will choose cell phone. Franky speaking, i have not been using land line phone for the past two to three year. I have been using my cell phone to call or receive call. Most of my friends call me to my cell phone. Not many know my landline phone either. haha...

I have both but I am thinking of giving up my landline. The cell is more important because I have it with me at all times, never know when you need it in an emergency. Goodbuy landline!

I prefer landline big time. Sound quality is way better and there are no reception problems. Obviously cell phones have the advantage of being portable, which is the reason of their existence lol. In short, i want both.

I choose cell phone even if i dont get great signal every where LOL you can take it anywhere you go and if you have signal you can talk anywhere you are. It has made living life easier. If you break down in a vehicle you can just call instead of walking to nearest house and use phone there. If you are out and cant remember what you were to get at the store you can call home, if you are waiting for an important call you dont have to sit and wait by the phone because it is always with you.

Yes a cellphone is tiny portable and you can go wherever you want with him... It's a darling of a gadget... But also the land line phone has his advantages: he is big, not portable, can't take him wherever I want... so nobody can steal it...:P I'm for real face to face, friends reach...

I would prefer cellphone because it is wireless and youc an carry with you everywhere. Moreover no one can cut your phone line as there is no cable involved. LOL. And you can communicate with your near and dear ones anytime from anywhere esp. when you need them or want to talk to them. And nowaday it is not that expensive too.

I too prefer my cellphone over a landline (even though the landline is cheaper) for the simple reason of convenience. I carry my cell everywhere I go and so would be easily accessible at all times.

well cell phones are the talk of the day and landline is the past, cell phones have an upperhand over landline, u can use the cell phones at your own ease, any place u want and can communicate with any one.

I would prefer cell phone because first, its one way where my family,friends and business partners keep in touch with me because im always mobile. Second, cell phone serves my datebook and organizer which organize all my task.

I prefer landline because i can talk even more longer. And it's more cheaper.

it's a hard choice,really..if i'm in outside of coz i'll choose cell phone but if i'm in my house then i'll choose landline coz it's much cheaper.

I would prefer cellphone. Its so easy and handy, and with the headset too it will be easier. There could be some signal problems but still cell phones are always preferable in terms of comfort. But i dont hate landlines. They are a good cheap way of communicating.

If it wasn't for the fact that using a cell phone costs so much more, I would give up my landline. Also, I have bundled my DSL with my landline, so if I pay the same amount whether or not I have the landline phone. But, if cell phone costs go way, way down, or they come up with an income-sensitive plan like the phone company has now, I would definitely prefer my cell phone.

If I could afford it.. I would choose cell phone, because I could text message, I would have caller id, and I could wander around and pace as I talked without ripping any cords out of the walls, or doing some funny tripping over cords dances.... I love the freeness of a cell phone, and I can deal with connection issues fine, I just can not stand to be tied to a building, or a house, or a yard.. when talking. I like to walk when I talk, I seem to be able to focus better, remember better, and understand better, besides it is fun when I am talking to a friend to let our conversation be interupted with the sandhill cranes are flying over my hard, or my dog is yapping at me for attention, or for our conversation to be joined by a multitude of purrs, as my furry friends compete trying to get the phone out of my hand. That makes it fun. :), and I can have privacy with it, and more control over who I talk to and do not talk to with a cell phone, that is why I would choose cell phone over land line. .. althought landline is good too dsl... and fast internet. Still can't be the computer on a landline without a phone! my heaven. .. Truely.. Only phones I like are cell phones. I do not like telephones in general at all.. blech. :) . - DNatureofDTrain

i'd rather have cell phone, because i cant use it anywhere also its with me all the time.

I prefer using the cellphn.. Its much more conveniant.. Also u don't need to run towards the phn when there's a call u need to pick.. Calling thru cellphn is also cheaper than landlines, so why wud ne1 like the landlines?? But there's still sm use left with these landlines.. I still use them to make std and isd calls, which are still quite expensive if I try making them thru my cellphn..

cellphone of course who would like to tag his or her landline along.. lol but really landline's nice since it's unlimited! Here in my city we just have to pay 300 pesos a month for the landline while the cellphone is very expensive..

i don't like cell phone,but i need it.i buy cell phone because i want my parents and my wife can reach me immediately.but,indeed,my leader of work can reach me too.so i often work at saturday or sunday.it is too bad.so,like landine better,but i can't choose it.many times,it is no use for me. that is my mean.do u understand? good luck.
