With our lives so busy we seem to change our form of communication to our significant others, I know that I communicate with mine through email, we talk maybe once a day (maybe) but most matters, like dinner, bills, children activities and even just to say I love you are all done via emails, so what about you, do you still talk to you spouse on the phone everyday or do you wait to when you are together to discuss matters?

When my IM is off, he hollers from the other room, lol.
I'm glad we have a lot of time together. We just argued about a half hour ago and I locked him out of my office.
Thanks for reminding me that I actually do like the guy, and am grateful we aren't living email to email.

My bf usually calls me when he is at work, and we will speak for a while. This is something I really would miss if it would stop =)
Most of the talking are done in the mornings before work and at nightime after we both get back =)
I do not think I have ever recived an email from him *lol*

I see my boyfriend every day but we always call each other if we have something to say. We very rarely text anymore because we have gotten better at expressing our emotions. We used to use text messages and e-mails to say the things we were too shy to say in person.

I love our loving emails back and forth, we are not shy with each other, but they are always so nice to receive especially when life can be too busy to do anything else. Thanks for responding, my friend.

Me? Talk to my wife? Are you serious? Hahahaha. Just joking there. My wife works 12 hour days 6 days a week. So we really don't talk a whole lot. When we do talk it is on the phone mostly. But that's even iffy as I have dial-up ISP and tie the line up most the day being here on myLot. LOL. We do most the talking on the weekends at when I pick her up at night. Our conversations are usually late at night too it seems. Saturdays she doesn't work till 5 p.m. so we talk a lot that mortning then all day Sunday also as it's only day off. But when I'm online I log off ever so ogetn to just call and hear her voice. Some days I even leave a little "love" note near the coffee pot saying I love her and to have a great day etc. This tickles her yet I get none from her. Whahhhhh! LOL. Thanks for this discussion also. Have a great day/evening. The photo is my wife 2 Sundays ago doing yard/garden work. We didn't talk much ezxcept about our garden and flower beds etc. Hahaha!
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

i call my hubby once a day sometimes more while he's at work, we chat things up for a while, then he gets back to work and we talk at home again.
I'd probably email if he knew how to use email, and if his job allowed him near a computer haha, but usually i just like to call him anyway, i don't even text him because i love hearing his voice.
Usually it's to talk about anything important also, but mostly to say hi and i love you.

I will leave messages for hubby on a huge whiteboard, in front of the coffee pot, and sometimes he will call me at work. Our shifts are different. I will sometimes wake up when he comes home, but not always.
Sometimes he will wake up before I leave the house. I cannot count on him getting e-mail in time from me, and I do not read mine at work.

For the last 4 years my significant other and I have lived 6 hours apart. We used phone, text messages and email to communicte throughout the day. In 5 weeks we will be together and I suspect we will mostly talk the old fashoined way; face to face.

well my husband doesn't use a computer so we don't email. I don't even think he knows what text messaging is, so if I sent him one he wouldn't even know how to retrieve it. Usually we talk in person, when he gets home from work. If I have to talk to him about something important, I will call his cell. He works on a construction site so he doesn't always answer because he can't always hear it.

Well, we met on the internet, and looked forward to emailing each other everyday, and phone calls. We've been together 2 years now and we still send emails everyday, we also talk several times a day on the phone. But he works days and I work evenings, so I'm gone to work by the time he gets home, and when I get home all I want to do is unwind and relax, so we save any major discussions for weekends. But, I love getting an email from him just asking me how my day is going, and he usually has one waiting for him when he gets to work, just letting him know I hope his drive in wasn't too bad, and hope his day isn't too hectic.

My soon to be husband and I currently don't live in the same country. He works in England and I live in Germany with my daughters. We see each other every other month. When we first got together we made each other a promise. Since we both came out relationships that failed because of a communication breakdown, we promised each other to never stop talking and in the 3 1/2 years we are together now, we haven't... :-)
We talk at least twice a day. He calls us in the morning, speaks to the girls and wishes us all a good day and then he calls me in the evenings and we talk for hours. On several occasions, we even talked through the night.
He is my confidant, my best friend, my soul mate!
I can talk to him about everything and anything!

We were using a lot of text messages, but the mobile bills were becoming too high. So now I try to send emails whenever I can, which are free, as I'm always logged on.
On rare occasions we ring each other, but as my husbands work is "senstive" I can't ring him much.

My significant other is away right now working in another part of the province and is gone one too two weeks at a time. We communicate through emails and msn alot. We do have cellular phones but that is costly and we dont use them that much but it is nice to actually here his voice once and a while too. We did try the letter in the mail thing but it took to long and typing is way easier. We wait til we are together to talk about really important issues though unless it is urgent and we need to get it on the discussion table right away then we try it on msn got no other choice right now. Hopefully this wont be much longer i miss him terribly.
