I used to care a lot about what people thought. as I got older I realized that if you're happy with yourself and have a clear conscience about the things you do then it doesn't matter what others think. people will always have an opinion regardless...

I know it's not quite the right thing but sometimes I care about what some people say about me (if they are close ones I do care more about what they said)

I certainly will not bow to peer pressure, I always believe that everyone have the right have different opinion. I do try to let everyone be happy, but if the other party is argumentative, then i will want to 'participate' in the game too. But most of the time, I will want everyone who talked/chatted/be with me to leave feeling happy and pleased...but then, i couldnt satisfy everyone, i will just do my best!

Good for you. You stand up for what you believe, but you think about the feelings of others, too. Sometimes I don't want to face a confrontation, but other times I dive right in. I've been doing that here on mylot. I'm going to answer as I believe no matter how many toes I step on. Thanks for a great answer!

Sometimes I care about what people think, but a lot of times I just pass it off and not care about it.

I have always been one that worried what other people thought of me, and now that I am grown, I can look back and see that I have truly missed out on a lot of fun in life, because I was too worried trying to look "good." However, as much as I can look back and see that I missed out because of worrying what others think, I still spend my middle ages holding back on doing certain things, because I can not break out of the mold of caring what others think.

I peronally don,t care what most people think, do,t get me wrong, i used to all the time in the pass but you get to the point where you have had enough of small mindedness getting you down. What is the point? As long as you are happy within yourself thats all that counts. xx

I try to keep it to a minimum.
Becoz in this kinda world we cant just live like we can. And even if i did i would be robbed of a lot of pleasantries I am enjoying now-a-days.
Once ppl judge u, it it makes them react to u accordingly so i tend to keep mine to a minimum care.

before yes, i did care about what other people think, big time! but after bearing with the pains of divorcing my ex-husband which is so unusual in our place back home, i learned to just mind my own business and be happy with the truth, no matter what people think or say. i'm done trying to please everybody, and making all the explanations like i owe them one. besides the pressure and it being taxing, it doesn't work anyway. no way one can please everyone, that's why sometimes it's better to just not care, hehe. after that, i feel a lot lighter and free :)

I don't care, never have, what other's think of me. I only have to answer to one, and that is God. I do try to be nice to everyone though.

I do care what people say about me. I believe that they are critics and what they're saying might be helpful for me to become a better person. But of course, there's a need to weigh whether they're just saying things to pull me down. I do get affected with even a lil insult but I try not to absorb it. People can be insensitive and scheming so, I don't always have to take them seriously. Some of their observations and comments are not even worth my time. For as long as what they think can help me improve myself, I'd welcome whatever they'd have to say. I won't mind.
