It is true, I've always wondered what the real meaning of the phrase "Life begins at 40" until I reached it and now living it. It is amazing at what new things or outlook in life is at 40 compared to when I was in my twenties. I have struggled most of my early half of life, from growing up as a kid, through finishing college, have gone back and forth in phases in "search of myself", finally getting a career and establishing myself. I am now finally enjoying life. It certainly is a beginning for me. I guess it really meant you have not truly enjoyed life if you haven't gone through the aches and pains of growing up and maturing. Interesting, I have found new hobbies and new adventures. I have set up a goal that before I reach 50 I would have fulfilled all my dreams and my so called "wish list of things to do" one of them I already did---bungee jumping at age 42! I am not what you can call an athletic type, but I did it and so can you.

Well I have just turned 40 this past February and I now understand that saying too. I have made some major changes in my life and I have also made a wish list of things I want to do before I reach 50 but bungee jumping is not one of them. I can relate to what you are saying I realize that my 20's and 30's were my educational period and now I can use it to really live now in my 40's.
