i have seen this anime... it's really good and sooo sad in the end... i just finished watching it today and the ending is sooooooo sad:( but i have to say that this anime rocks... the characters are so good and the main character Ai who i find is really adorable lol is the best character for me. anywayz i deffinatly recommend this anime.

I've watched the first episode of this amine and it's pretty interesting. The animation is really well done and the story itself is actually quite dark. If you like darker story lines, this might be a good anime for you. I would suggest reading about it on a website or wikipedia if you want to know a bit more about it. I often do that myself if I am curious about an anime but am not ready to commit to buying it. Just be careful if you don't want to end up reading too many spoilers. You could also try to watch some clips online to see if you like it. I think you could try watching clips on youtube.

Hellgirl?? I do not like the title of it. May be it is some kind of demonic anime or something. I usually look at the title of the anime before watching it. So if it sounds bad then I won't watch it.

i haven't seen this anime yet. but the description says every twelve midnight you can access jigoku tsushin (hell hotline) online. if you type the name of someone you have a grudge against there, the Hell Girl will appear and she will introduce herself. she will also give you a straw doll which ties a red string around its neck. the rumors of the site became quite popular with the children and students among the cities. however, you must make a contract with the Hell Girl before sending that person to hell. the hell girl really doesn't work alone. she lives with her grand mother who gives advice to her and orders her around. other than that, she also counts on the help of her three assistants: Ichimoku Ren a young handsome guy, Hone-Onna a beautiful seductive woman, and Wanyudou, an old man who likes to wear old traditional japanese clothing, hat and red scarf. if they are not in jigoku shoujo's service. they are transformed back into three simple colored strawdolls.

I watched season one and need a refresh on seasons two and three. Anyways, season one and the concept of Jigoku Shoujo are pretty neat. It takes the format of individual stories and using revenge correspondence to get back at people, but in exchange for sending someone to damnation, one must also go to hell to at the end of their life. Towards the end of the first season, the metaplot got on my nerves due to a certain issue (but spoilers would be involved likely so I'll leave it at that).

i've seen 3 episodes, now im still finishing it till season 3, try to watch the LIVE version, its pretty good. i like it.
