Things are sprouting and growing like crazy in my garden beds! I am so very excited to see all the seedling sprout. The other day we had our first spring greens salad, with mustard, arugula, spinach, and turnip greens. The potatoes are doing fantastic, and beans are popping up so fast that I really need to finish building that bamboo trellis. Next I am going to dig up a strip for planting sunflowers and other flowers. After all the hard work of digging and planting and weeding, it feels wonderful to watch my work fruit to happy little plants!

I have LOTS of flowers that are getting bigger and some are blooming. I have not been able to get my veggies started yet. Our tiller tore up and I have not yet got the motovation to dig it by hand yet.

I agree with you. It feels different if you grow things yourself. Spring have come early here in England and our tomatoes and aubergines are nearly a foot tall. I've only planted some sunflowers 2 weeks ago and I could see green leaves sprouting. Its all so exciting! The daffodils and fuchsias have finished flowering while my roses have lots of buds. I can't wait for the buds to show their colours next. :o) This is the part of year where I enjoy having breakfast while watching my garden grow. Happy gardening.

Glad to hear that sprouting in your garden growing like crazy. It certainly give a feeling of satisfaction and all that hard work did pay. Unfortunately, I won't find any of those in my garden since I still have some problems with snails. Tonz of them in my garden. Doesn't matter what I do, they keep on coming and coming and eat all my plants especially sprouting till bald and nothing left. Every morning I can see their trace of slims on my garden...yuck. So, I have to wait until my garden is free snail zone.... I can only say...I envy you, and enjoy your wonderful garden !!!
