I color my hair my natural color - just to cover the greys that tend to come in stronger and stronger each year.

I am blessed in one way - my hair is about 10 different colors so in the summer when much of it lightens with the sun naturally I don't bother coloring, the grey just kinda mixes in with the rest of it. Winter when it starts to darken again they stand right out like someone has a spotlight on every one of them

I always die my hair. I went totally grey when I was 40 years. In fact, now I am nearly white. But as I am 49 years now, I feel as though I am too young to be a greyish, whitish colour, so I die my hair,. I try to use the colour I was naturally before I went grey.
Which is dark brown.

Well over the years I've experimented with every colour imaginable. I'm naturally blonde, and so it was always easy to try out blues, and greens, purples and reds - yes - I was a pretty rebellious teenager!! LOL! Only colour I've never been is black. I have a very pale skin colour, and black would just be too harsh, and make me look like Morticia from The Addams Family or something!!!

I would dye my color something whacky. If you've seen Kate Winslet in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," she dyed her hair colors from blue to orange. I think it would be such a cool way to stand out.

I have tried all manner of colours - though nothing so drastic as unnatural such as purple. I would love to have the perfect ash or caramel brown/dark blonde hair. Whenever I dyed my hair this colour in the past, it looked good on me but because I have too much red in my hair, it wouldn't be long before it went brassy.

I have been dying my hair for ages now. It is currently black with purple streaks but in the past I have had my hair almost every colour except green :-)

Hi Robyn, thanks for the friends add, there's a little message for you on your profile. I've dyed my hair since I was 11 years old, I practiced hairdressing when I left school, but only lasted a couple of years! I think my hair has been most colours of the rainbow (Including green - although that was a mistake after I'd dyed my hair blonde and it went a bit green lol) currently it's a reddish colour, although at the start of the year my hair was a bright blonde, then it went to black and red and now it's all red..

Usually, i dont die my head with any colours. I rather prefer to apply natural leaves, which gives colour by applying. I usually get those leaves for my mother and she blends it and makes it into a paste. She applies it to her hair and few paste remains, i take that and apply it to my hair. It gives brown colour which is visible only in the sun shine. That colour is not so bright, but very light seen. I like applying such colours.

I have naturally dark hair. Once I got a spleen and dyed it very blonde. It didn't look bad, but less than seven days later, the dark roots were visible. So I had to do an endless every fortnight dying job. Now I wear my hair like dark honey, and it doesn´t matter so much when it starts to grow. Dyed hair is fine, but it takes much time and money.
I think I wouldn´t dare to have it dyed extravagantly. For on night, you always can put on a neon colored wig, can´t you?
