How Far Should A Woman Go When Lifting Weights?

I have seen women with little muscles and I have seen then with muscles as big as the body building men. I think little muscles are nice, but big ones on a woman are very unattrative. Most men want a woman to be soft an satin like. I don't think that they want a woman who can body slam them. If they are both buff, well that would just be kind of weird, but I guess it could work. I have never really lifted weights, but am considering starting to help with my exercise induced asthma. What do you think of women and weight lifting

I think a woman should do whatever she likes. I hate to see women spending their live living for what men like. They wear clothes men like, paint their faces to please men, starve themselves for men who like em skinny. It's so wrong in my view. Women should ask themselves what they want, then they should do what they want. If you want muscles, get muscles, if you don't don't but don't base that decision on what you think men wish you'd look like. I lift weights and I'm doing it for me, not my husband.

I understand your point, but in some things there hast to be compromise. I know for a fact, when a man sees that a woman is not willing to please him and work with him on things, he will walk away. I have seen it happen to too many women. If you have a man that is willing to stand by you no matter what, then good for you. But, even a good man will get tired.

I just don't like to see women not being true to themselves just to keep a man. Women will never be equal unless they stand up and demand better. I wouldn't want to be with a man who wants me a certain way, a man who cannot accept me how I am. If a woman stays with a man then she is settling for less than she deserves. And it's sad that some women are so needy that they rather be with the wrong person than be alone.

Most women with muscles like body building men take steroids. Their faces begin to look like men too. I think that's very unattractive. I think women who've built strength and muscles naturally are attractive.

This is the way that I believe most men feel. I know for me, I do not want to look like a man, I want to love one.

No, the bodybuilding is not a sport for women. Their boddies are muscular, but disharmonic, they loose their feminity. Some exercises are o.k, but they must be very well ballanced.

I have this machine I use called 6 second abs.I use it to tone my body but I don't want to get it to bulky either. I also walk. Using this has made my muscles thicker. Which is good as long as it gets rid of my fat.

It sounds like you might be a little intimidated by a woman who is bigger than you. I am sure that there is a woman in this world who suits you to a tee.

I am a man ,from my point of view,i like women with little muscles .Many of my friends told me that they don not like women with muscles as body building man.Just like what the writer said, most men want a women to be soft and satin like, which is the thought of men.Exercise is essential for women, but men donnot need a muscled wife!

There is no right or wrong answer to this question, and it should not depend on gender. This question should be the same for women as for men. Each individual should only go as far as they can, without hurting themselves. Some are stronger than others, and this does not necessarily depend on gender.
