who was rhe best singer from the 1960's?

My favorite singer from the 60s (and 50s) is Frank Sinatra...I love all his songs from these decades and his voice was at its best. My favorite group from the 60s is the Beatles...they have an amazing collection of songs/music.

i did not burn yet, but in this years the beatles are beigining the most influenciable era of rock.

I don't have a favorite, but I think that possibly one of the best singers, as far as their voice, could have been Aretha Franklin.

I know this is probably a cliche answer, but I would have to say the Beatles. Just the amount of songs of theirs that I like is enough to outdo everyone else from that era. Most of my favorite past musicians are from the 70's and 80's, since I was born in the 80's and grew up listening to my parents' music. (Of course, the Beatles were one of those groups) I guess my parents were too young to have a lot of favorite bands until the late 60's early 70's.
