Most of the young IT professional earn a large amount of money by way of salary and perks. They are put to quite a lot of strenuous work with little rest and leisure time. This group of young men and women amass great wealth, but find no time for spending and relaxing. What life promises to these young generation folks ??

This could go in two directions as I see it. First, they could get so attracted to money that they just continue to persue it to get more and more so they can spend more and more. Or, they could work hard for several years and accumulated some wealth by saving and investing. Then slow down later in life and enjoy it more. But, I would want a mixture of work and time for relaxing. I think at the end of the day, it is silly to feel bad because you didn't work more hours.

this is a good way to deal with life. work hard while still strong and very young, then retire with a good and happy stable condition financially at a young age. this way, life can be enjoyed at its fullest.

That is assuming that you will live long enough to enjoy the fruits of your labor. The odds are you will, but life is not so sure for all.

Well my fiance is an IT professional running his own business. He makes a good amount of money but since he runs his own business he is able to set his own hours and do things at his own pace. While he does have his times where he is very busy with work and always on the go he always makes sure to put aside plenty of time for family. I don't feel his line of work has at all affected our family in a negative way. I feel we have been very blessed to be able to spend so much time together.

Personally, there will come a time when the money and perks will no longer look so good to you and you will feel bad that you have missed that family reunion of around two years ago and realize that you can do nothing to bring back time. I work in a IT related job and it is quite stressful. I have been in this profession for the last four years and unlike my first two years, I now take the time to unwind with my family and friends.

Personally, i can relate to that because my boyfriend for two years now is in the IT business and hes really buisy with a lot of work since he has clients from both here in the country and as well abroad. I do even go with him when he has meeting regarding work and i can really see that sometimes hes getting really tired. I know he loves his job and even he has a lot of work to be done, he still have time for me and for his family (mom, dad, sisters) and his friends. We even go together for massage when he is really stressed out and we do have fun during weekends just like any couple. With the years weve been together, i learned to understand the extent of his job. Thats why, for me, it actually depends on the priorities of the person. Because there are others that works because they wanted to help their families and just really want to save enough money for the future, what is important is the balance one has when it comes to work and other stuff.

if i were still young and i have the opportunity to earn so much money now, i will grab at it. this way, i can make a lot of savings fast then establish my own viable businesses. when i am financially stable i can now start reaping the fruits of my labor. lead an easy life, have it good, relax and i can now do everything that i want to. no, i will not be like the others who finds no satisfaction in the amount of wealth that they have accumulated no matter how many millions and billions they come to be.

Yes. One of my colleague who is undergoing a training in a multi national IT firm told me an incident. One young boy was forced to work till 11 hours in the night and when he asked permission to leave, the manager further enrusted some other work despite his "cry" that he is very much hungry and want out go out for having meals.

some of these people actually love the challenge and if they didn't make it in that way they would some other, but if that is not the case and they are doing it for the money, they can invest make more money and relax after the money comes in and have a happy retirement.

When they get high enough in the company they sure make the big bucks. I think when they get high enough up to where they are making a lot of money, they have people working under them, so they have some free time. Though I do know they have to be on call all the time to take care of problems that come up.
