false.
they tend to make this claim when they don't get special treatment for being Christian.
it's persecuting Christians not to make all children in schools, Christian or otherwise, listen to Christian prayers.
it's persecuting Christians not to allow a Christian to wear a
cross in a workplace that doesn't allow wearing of jewellery.
so basically, I think that Christians have got a bit too used to being treated like they're above the other religions, and now laws expect them to be treated the same, no better, no worse, they think it's persecution.
but I can tell you I've never heard of people having dog poop shoved through the letterbox of their Christian bookshop, unlike some friends of mine who started a business.

Sorry to hear you feel that way. The people around here where I live are nothing like that. I'm a Christain and I don't expect special treatment and I expect to follow the law whether I believe it is right or not. People of all walks of life can be cruel.

not all. just the ones that go around talking about Christians being persecuted, when really they have it so much easier than any other religion at the moment
like I say, I think it's because some of them have got used to the fact that Christians have been favoured above non-Christians for such a long time, that now the laws demand religious equality, when that equality happens, us non-Christians are a little better off, and Christians a little worse off as they're no longer getting preferential treatment, just the same treatment as everyone else.
some Christians accept that that is equality, and they've no right to expect preferential treatment over other religions, and others, misguidedly, think that being treated equally, rather than preferentially, is persecution and discrimination.
unfortunately, these are the ones that shout loudest about it.

False! They are the religion with the recored of doing the persecuating not the persecuted. One only has to think of the Inquisition or the Salim witch trials to see the truth in this.
