when i was a kid, i loved to read comics. disney, superhero comics, etc. they were so entertaining for me because they had pictures and dialogues at the same time! so great!
when i grew older, i stopped buying comics because i cant spend all my money just for comics, right? however, even though i stopped buying comics, i dont stop reading them. i borrow from my friends or just browse around them in bookstores (shh, hehe).
what about you? do you like to read comics?

Of course I do! When I was young, my mom used to buy a lot of comics for me and my brother. We read a lot of them. Monica, Spiderman, Superman, etc! All of them!
I still like to read comics, but I don't buy them anymore. I don't know why, my mother stopped buying then, so we just stopped reading them.

I think almost all kids love to read comics. I enjoyed reading comics when I was young too. I remember during recess we would flock at an ice cream parlor where you are free to read comics when you eat ice cream.

Yeah, when I was a kid reading comics is the in thing. It's cool to read comics when you are a kid. I have several local comics that I read follow the story till the end. I usually rent the comics when it come out. It's cheaper to rent that buy the whole comics. I also go to my Aunt house where she has a regular subscriptions of comics (Liwayway) and read all the story in it. But today most of my kids don't read comics. They read novels instead. Comics is losing it's cool trend because of other entertainment gadget that attract children. Especially tv and video games.

yes, i agree with you, it is cheaper to rent comics rather than to buy one. but then, i was still a kid back then so i cant really go and tell my mom to rent comics instead of buying them for me. lolz. :)
sadly, yeah, comics are really slowly losing their touch with children due to the modern technologies and games and gadgets that has been released by the toy companies. well, what can we do, that's just how it is. :P

Actually, I was borrowing them from my neighbor who was buying them even before I was born.
But now, the reprints of old Dylan Dog issues are being published (Dylan Dog Extra), so I'm buying those.
Still, my favorites have to be Nathan Never and Zagor
