Have you ever had an out of body experience?

I never had, but I've read alot about people who have seen themselves laying in bed. And, about people who have died and been brought back to life. They often can say things they saw happening to them that there was no way for them to know, such as what the doctors were saying. Also, they sometimes have traveled thru a white tunnel and loved ones that have passed over telling them to go back that it wasn't time for them to die. I was just wondering if any of you have had this experience or know anyone that has?

I guess I had an out of body experience a couple of times when I was in the emergency room. Once I had a miscarriage at 6 months and I remember floating above my body. I had lost a lot of blood and by the time I got to the hospital I was soaked. I remember floating and it was silent, but I could see my mom down below with me crying. When I woke up she was there holding my hand. The second time I remember, was when I had a tubal pregnancy and again, I had the same feeling of seeing myself from above. It is very strange and very much like a dream state.

It wasn't scary or a good feeling. It was just a very strange feeling, like wow, what am I doing up here when I am down there? I mean I could realize that I was not in my body. It was all very surreal and I felt very strange. It is hard to explain in words. Thanks for the best response rating, i am very honored!

I will talk about these things that have happened to me; Every so often during the course of my life, I would have these type of dreams that are close to nightmares but are real vivid. Anyway, they would go like this; I would dream but wouldn't be totally asleep, and I would be dreaming as though I'm seeing a certain situation, and before it gets drastic, i would be screaming, and I can't scream; if I try to do something, I can't do it. These have happened several times over the course of my life.
