When I'm 'busy' here on myLot, I sometimes imagine all of the other members enjoying myLot as well.
Where is your computer located, and what type of computer do you have?
My computer is in my dining room, and is a 'black, flat screen type.' It's sitting on a computer desk, with lots of shelving for storage etc. and a spot for the printer on the top shelf.
What about your computer?

Your computer's in the same spot as mine, but the one difference is that you can look into your garden. That sounds lovely. Mine faces a wall, but I do have a nice photo montage on that particular wall. My cat's name is Anna Belle, and she's going on eleven. What's your kitty's name? Thanks for sharing.

That sounds like a really nice set-up jogie_bien, and it's great that you can have everything in one place like this. Very convenient. Thanks for sharing.

my computer is in my living room. We have a very small house, so my computer and my son's is in the living room with the tv. We always have the tv on as well. It is a really noisy environment. We both have big pc's so you can imagine how congested the living room is.

It's nice that you both have your own computers winterose. We've got a small house too, and so the room is quite crowded with everything. We don't always have the t.v. on, but do sometimes, so the environment can be loud at times. Thanks for sharing, as always.

I go on myLot on two different computers: my computer which is in the bedroom sitting on a computer desk/closet with a couple of shelves to hold the printer and my scanners. The computer itself is black/silver with a flat screen. The other computer is the white MacBook which is owned by my boyfriend and I use it all over the apartment, sitting on the bed, sofa or at the kitchen table.

That's a nice option, that you have two computers to choose from. I really enjoy the flat screen too, but had to wait quite awhile before I was able to get one. The laptop type sound great, because you can use them in so many different places, although, I've never used one myself. Thanks for sharing.

My p.c. is also an H.P. with Windows XP, but with the cumbersome 17" regular monitor and it's in my dining room. I have a large 'picture' window to my left as I'm sitting here and it looks over my back yard; in need of more Spring raking, only half done.
As soon as this monitor gives out I'll be going to the flat screen and I don't think that will be very long, as it's starting to act up a bit.
I have a small computer desk with the scanner and printer to the side, very adequate for my needs.
But don't these desks accumulate a lot of paper and clutter? Seems like I'm always tidying.

Like you, I have a large window to my left, and the computer's in my dining room. In fact, it's a sliding 'walkout' door, to a 'very small' backyard. Our monitor gave out a few months ago, and we're really enjoying the flat screen. My printer is on the top of the desk shelf, and there are storage shelves to the right. Yes, I too find that the desk accumulates a lot of junk, and has become just another place for papers etc. to pile up. Thanks for sharing.

It's very nice of your sister to share her laptop with you. myLot is a great place to spend some time, and to get to know so many interesting people, while making 'friends' at the same time. Thanks for your response.

It seems as though many 'of us' do their myLotting from their homes. Does your's sit on a computer desk, or do you use a laptop? Thanks for sharing.

I know of quite a few people, who's computers are located in their bedrooms. I used to have dial up and it can be frustrating, but still worth it, I think. I have a printer on the top shelf of my desk too, but don't have a scanner hooked up. Thanks for your response.
