From July 1st it will be against the law to smoke in a public place in the uk, whether that be a pub, club, office, taxi, train station etc.
Whats your opinion on this?
Are you a smoker and if so how will it affect you?
Do you think it is a good decision or do you think it affects our freedom of choice?

I am an ex smoker in Canada. In our city they have banned smoking in all public places and work spaces. I agree about restaurants but these non smoking nazis have gone too far around here. They banned smoking from all pubs and bars, so the owners of these places built patios for the smokers and bent over backwards to obey they law, now the non smoking nazis are back and they want it banned from the patios. I am all for non smokers rights but I think smokers should have rights too. Now they are talking about banning it in bus stops. I think that human rights are being stomped on. Get ready U.K. give them an inch they will take a mile.
