I really like Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. I love how passionate he is about the origins of his food, the welfare of the animals, the local community and traditions, the flavour.
the River Cottage series of programmes was particularly good, and I always end up watching the re-runs as they make me feel all warm inside.
I've also quite warmed to Gordon Rmasey since Kitchen Nightmares (where he sorts out failing restaraunts) and The F Word. before these programmes I though he was just a foul mouthed arrogant man. these programmes showed that yes, he is foul mouthed and shouts a lot, but he really does care about food, and about ethics of food, and in Nightmares, he really really wanted the people to succeed and only got annoyed with them when they wouldn't listen to his very good advice.

Maybe not in America, but in Japan. I always loved Iron Chef, especially Rokusaburo Michiba, Hiroyuki Sakai, and Chen Kenichi. Those were my all-time chefs from Japan whose cuisine reigns supreme!

I am somewhat a Food Network junkie. I love to cook and try new things with food. I would have to say that my favorite chefs on T.V. are Paula Deen and Rachel Ray. I like Paula because of her southern cooking and Rachel for her easy fixes.

I actually love watching tv chefs such as: Ina Garten, Giada de Laurentis, Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence. I used to like Wolfgang PUck, however, I've noticed that he's not too careful and clean with what he's cooking. Sometimes, when he sees an ingredient fall down his stovetop, he puts it right back in the pan. I don't know, for me, it's not right lolz...to wolfgang's fans, sorry...peace :)

i like rachel ray and her 30 minute meal. i learned many things from her. i really like wulfgang puck also. for me, he is very funnny. i like the way he would suggest something to make it easy for the viewers to cook what he is cooking.

Rachel Ray is actually pretty cool. Especially on the Food Network and Iron Chef America.

Truthfully, I don't like many of the television chefs, but I do like Rachel Ray. True, she's not an actual chef, she's a cook, but she makes every day meals more fun and I've learned a lot from her about seasonings. I also like Paula Deen because of her down-home cooking and I love her accent and I enjoy watching Lydia on her public television cooking show because I love Italian food.

I love Rachel Ray as a cook host and watch both her shows "meal in 30 minutes and "$ 40 a day" pretty regularly. I am a big fan of her clothes and accessories too, she 's a sweet mouthed, efficient cook host and the way she says it makes you feel like you can actually cook the same thing too.

He hasn't been on in quite awhile but I used to love watching Jacques Pepin--in fact when he first began to get popular here in America about 30 years ago (yikes has it been that long??) he inspired me to do a lot of my own fancy smancy French cooking--also used to love watching The Galloping Gourmet--he was a real riot to watch

Alton Brown. Not only do you learn something on every show, he does it in such an entertaining way.
