At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship? How old are you & why?

I'm 22 and I could do with either one, since I'm unemployed & single I'm leaning more towards career because I definitely think I'm at a point in my life where I need to start making money to be independent. Although finding love is very important to me, I still think I have more several more years for that, but this is the time right now when I ought to be entering the work force.

At present I am 25 years old......and at this point of time I want to first enter a new relationship....that is....I want to get married.....Its not that im obsessed of getting married....its coz I need a direction to my professional career.....until and unless I get to know where finally I have to settle, I am not able to set my career goals.....

actually a new career, rather than a new relationship. for one I am happily married to my husband now for almost 12 years, and for two, we desparately want me to stay at home to work. It just makes the most sense so I am working on trying to get things together so that I can do just that. I am hoping to find something soon but we will see. I have started my own business but it is going slow but that is okay, I am not ready for it to hit up fast at this point in time. I know that eventually I will get there but right now my kid are more important. Once they get into the swing of things then I will be starting up my career ....

As I am only 17 years old I would have to go with a career, which i am finding very difficult at the moment to find. No one seem to want to employ people my age and give them the experience they need, which makes me sick. If I am really unsuccessful in having a career then I will look for a relationship with a sugar daddy!LOL

I'm a fresh graduate and I should consider the fact that I'm just so aggressive into getting a career. Aside from the thought that I want to see if the course that I took is really befitting me, I also would like to discover a lot of things and explore a new experience. My previous statements indeed tell the truth about me choosing the NEW career. However, I've always believed in the truth that CAREER and RELATIONSHIP are incomparable. This striking a balance in terms of time spent in both will simply make a good combination. Having a relationship can boost your confidence in your career because you are inspired. And on the other hand, having a Career while in a relationship makes you worthwhile since you have something to be proud of with your partner.

I am 43 and I would rather start a new relationship than a career. Im a complementary therapist and i run my own business from home. Altho it doesnt make me a lot of money, i love what I do and dont want to do anything else. I have been on my own for 12 years now, and tho I have had a few relationships in that time, I am single at the moment. I am happy that way, but as im getting older I feel that it would be nice to have a relationship with someone, to have someone to talk to and to cuddle up to. Someone i could share things with.

There is no choice in fact. If one relation is reliable or perspective for me, this person must understand that for me the new career is VERY important. And to support me. I will do my best to balance them.
