Do click to pay sites really work?

Can you really make money from these sites? How exactly do they work? surely its more complicated than just clicking on a site and they pay you? Please help me understand these sites.

it works, it just like any other online system that let you make small money due to the platform it was formed. Some are definately a scam, but others are legit. Adbux and clixsense work, but you need to get referrals to make any real money from them. In fact, all of the on-line moneymaking comes down to getting referrals. How to get referrals is another question.
