Okay, I know you should tip waiters about 10% of your bill, and I know that cab drivers should also be given tips though I don't know how much. So, when, to whom and how much should I tip?
I've just been to the spa and I don't know if I should tip the therapist who did the spa on me. I also don't know if I really should tip my hairstylist. Any thoughts on this? I don't want to come out as a cheapskate.
Are there any other common services that is commonly given tips that I don't know about? Thanks.

Here waiters get 15% of the bill. My hait stylist always gets $5.00. I have never been to a spa so that I dont know and I dont use cabs.

The other poster also said 15%, but I saw an American movie say that 10% is like, the law? Is this true? So which is it? 10 or 15? Thanks for responding.

I have a tip calculater in my cellphone that, should I choose to tip, makes things really handy for me, since math is not one of my strong points.
It's ironic that I even have that tip calculator, because I really don't beliee in tipping. I think it is a sad state of affairs when people EXPECT tis, and when employees underpay, because the customers will pick up their slack.

It is entirely your personal choice..if you get pleased after someone's service....you may give 10% or 5% as TIP. By the way TIP means - To Insure Prompt Service.
You could have given tips to your hairstylist and the therapist...next time they would do better service for you.

I think it doesn't matter about the 10%. If their nice yeah tip them with a little bit more than usual. Maybe $5.00. If their rude and they don't like to wait on you I say about a dollar or two. Also depending on where you go and how much cash you have on you.

I was eating out with my cousin last week, we had a nice meal and a great time and the service was ok, but we both said the waitress wasnt the best wed ever been served by - of course we tipped, to be honest dont blame her itd kill me to doing that job, but i dont think we tipped as much as we might of done had her attitude been different. But people appreciate these tips, i know i do it doesnt have to be much its not the amount but the gesture.
