I was wondering who all uses Ebay?
I use them To buy, but mostly sell Items.
What is the most difficult order you went through buying and selling?
I'm going through my first International sale, and this guy form the UK is being difficult in how he wants this order complete( he bought my drum set). He has his oun shipping company, but im supposed to keep the item at my house, and give them the money that the buyer gave me. well he gave me 2500 to give th his shiper, and my 550 for the item. and now im supposed to wire the money to his shippers and i am supposed to cover the wire cost? it costs $150 to send $2500! I told him this, and he finnally today agreed to cover the 150 and to wire 2350.
grr some people...
has anyone else had this much trouble selling, or buying?

Hi, I spend quite alot of time on ebay both buying and selling, I work with a powerseller doing his listings and have seen the trouble from both sides! Luckily though it seems to be pretty rarely that we come across trouble makers and none payers, but we always insist on paypal payments as you are always covered if something goes wrong. Not sure if you have recorded delivery where someone has to sign for their parcel in your country but we don't send anything out without it! Paypal will always support you if you have a signature from the customer saying that they have received the item.

Wow!
I've never done anything that complicated. I only buy and I suck at bidding at the last minute so naturally I don't buy much. I've never had any problems. But I'm not selling so perhaps that's why.
Hope this is the last problem you have with E-Bay!

you must try to make the business by paypal is more cheap than a wire transfer.

That sounds like a pretty convoluted deal they have you doing. Just use caution i guess is my best advice. A friend of mine got scammed out of ten thousand dollars on a similar venture. But, that involved her bank. Not sure if that's similar to what you're doing. Best of luck with your ebay sales!
