I would prefer to being barefoot rather than wearing shoes. Its rather uncomfortable to be wearing shoes all the time. Most especially here in our country where the weather is hot.

lol....the best part of the day for me is when I get home from work and can take my shoes off!! Too bad it's not warm here all the time!! Winter here is way too cold to go withoutshoes, socks or slippers...so I'm waiting for the warm weather and summer to get here again!!

I cannot stand shoes. Unfortunately the weather dictates that shoes and boots be worn at certain times of the year. But if I could I would be barefoot all the time. I can't even stand to wear socks most days lol.

Barefoot, definately, as much as possible. It's cold here in the winter so going barefoot is a real summer luxury. My feet are fairly tough, so my feet are pretty much all terrain.

It's cold here in the winter, too and I can't wait right now for it to get warm enough to ditch my shoes and socks!! I tend to keep my feet covered in the winter and my feet aren't so tough, kind of like right now....bad part? my feet get really tickelish. Once summer gets here and I can go barefoot, someone actually trying to tickle my feet feels more like a foot massage!!

I was always one of those people who would spend the absolute bare minimum on shoes. However, since I have started long distance running I find that I really need good shoes. Unfortunately they are quite expensive. I tend to spend about $200 for my running shoes and roughly the same for my work shoes.

That's understandable, running and spending alot of time on your feet at work do require alot of support so your arches don't break down. I learned that lesson, too and dont run or go to work without a good pair of shoes.

I'm almost always barefoot. If i have to wear sandals I will, but most the time I go without. This summer I'll be barefoot and pregnant as the saying goes lol.

lol.....I always thought that was funny.....I went barefoot alot when I was pregnant, I think it's just more comfortable and less of a hassle trying to take them off and put them on when you're belly gets bigger during pregnancy.

i have to wear shoes, i cannot standing having my feet on show, i dont like feet to start off with but i do not like showing my feet and i dont like the feeling of wind on my feet but for some reason i like the feeling of dry sand on my feet, but thats the only thing i like on my feet!

Interesting!! any idea why the dry sand feels good? I know I can't hardly stand getting sand on my feet when my feet are wet. I can only guess that the warm sand and the movement of the sand relaxes your feet like a good foot massage would.

I would rather wear flip flops. Inside my house I will go barefoot but even then most of the time I find myself wearing flip flops. :)

I used to wear flip flos all of the time, kept me from stepping on honey bees, but I haven't worn them in years. Last summer I got a pair with a little bit of a heel, they were really cute but it was a bad idea for me to wear them to the mall.....I think I might wear them around the house to get that tender spot between my toes used to the flip flops again.

Bear feet all the way with sexy painted toes. But of course outside have to add some cute flip flops on the sidewalks. Cass

I think I like barefoot alot better, but there are alot of places here that wont let anyone in a place of buisiness unless you have some sort of shoes on.

Barefeet, there is nothing nicer than having shoes off in the hot summer, it makes my feet feel so good. I love to sit outside and feel the breeze if there is any tickle over my toes!!

I was just thinking about this subject as the weather is warming up here, and my shoes have been kicked off. Of course, I still wear them if I'm doing anything where I need protection. And I do wear them in town most of the time, but why wear them around the house and garden? I know there's nothing here dangerous to step on because it's my own house.

When I'm just around the house, I prefer to go barefoot. I'm not sure why, but I guess it just seems more comfortable to me. I pretty much always take off my shoes as soon as I get in the house. For some reason, I feel weird wearing my shoes in the house!

well during our canadian winter, i wear socks and slippers all the time but during the warmer months (believe it or not, it does get hot here) i would rather go barefoot...in fact, i go barefoot all the time (even at work i kick my shoes off and run around the office in bare feet!!)

When it's warm enough, barefoot is the way to go. I keep flip flops or crocs about in case I need to walk across the brambly bit of the garden, but otherwise barefoot. I do get cold feet though, so it has to be pretty warm before I cast off my socks. When it's still nippy I like to wear something comfortable like Crocs about the place. I'm currently in a yellow pair, with a black pair for 'best' :-)

Barefoot, although since I'm diabetic and have to watch out for my feet, I only go barefoot inside and wear sandals outside now.

If it is a lovely hot summer then when at home I like to be barefoot. I have a variety of slip on sandals which don't need buckling or lacing up so they are great if I have to go anywhere but don't want to wear shoes proper.
