How awesome! Isn't it a great feeling to prove all those doctors wrong! I know I enjoy telling a doctor he is wrong! Ha! Seriously, good for you reaching way back in there and having the courage, stamina and guts to overcome!

I think after the obvious of having two amazing kids and a relationship that has lasted 19 years, it has to be my own career success. After spending 9 years at home and with no job prospects I went and studied childcare and got a job in a nursery. They saw my potential and I then studied my NVQ 3 to further my development and from this my boss paid for me to do a degree so I can become a teacher. It has taken me 6 years of studying over the last 8 years, but in July I will have finished my degree, so it was all worth it. I do feel very proud of myself for having achieved this and I will always be greatful to those who have helped me. Now I have students at my work who I mentor and that is a great thing to do, I can give something back.

I have complete admiration for nurses. Everytime I have been in hospital they are so caring, especially when my son burnt his legs, they were brilliant. KUDOS to you to my friend. You are worth your weight in gold!!

KUDOS!!!! Good job for having the fortitude to press on! Isn't it great to 'give back' and realize that with teaching you are shaping tomorrow! I am amazed daily as I teach future nurses that I am having an impact on health care that will last beyond my living days!

I guess it would be that I haven't given up on myself or my dreams. I have failed so often in doing what I like to do that success has eluded me. But I still have enough interest and drive to create my own success despite incredible odds against it. Right now, I am on the brink of major disaster. But I cannot look at that and have to move forward any way I can. I have few accomplishments to be proud of other than not giving up on what I want.

Well I must say that I agree with everyone else. I am proud of my kids as well. As far as accomplishments, I think that it has to be the fact that we have taken our ranch to a new heights in the "green scene" and organics. I pat myself and my family on the back for that contribution to end global warming.

Oh Ally, I so wish that more companies, ranchers, farmers, businesses would go green or at least make better strides. Good for you!

I am proud of going through the last semester of college pregnant, having the baby, taking finals and being able to get out with a 3.5 GPA. This shows that will power can go a long way.

Wow, will you please come talk to my classes? They like to whine about how hard nursing school is, "especially when many of us have children to care for and other obligations." I get so tired of hearing it!

Right now, I am proud of being a parent because I just never thought I'll be one someday. I don't even feel it yet, but I probably will when she starts to call me mom alot more.

I am most proud of how my son turned out after raising him through his teen years alone. He even went to college! Also, I graduated from college in 1999 at 42 years old! And then. . . my latest thing I'm most proud of is marrying the man of my dreams! It took 3 tries, but I finally did it!

my dream daughter (who now has her 3 little offsprings) is my best and biggest accomplishment in my life. things werent always perfect due to family life but she has turned out to be the best anyone could wish for. i am so proud of her even if i do still nag her every time i speak to her. i got out of a hole and got some qualifications starting at 35 years old and now have lots of different career options if i ever decide to leave my job.
