Would you tell a friend something that is going to hurt her

Would you tell someone that they had body oder? You know it would hurt them, but they really need to know. And, I don't think they are even aware of it. I don't want them mad, but it is causing talk and people don't want to be around her even though she is a nice person and always looks nice. I think she probably hasn't been taught proper hygeine, but I don't know how to begin to brouch this with her.

I will try to be as delicate as it`s possible. And i will carefully choose the right moment and the right way to tell. It`s different to say:
- You smell like a pig
and:
- Will you pay more attention to your health, may be something is wrong there, because the odor of your body is too different now...

I had this problem when I was in high school. One of our best friends had so much body odor. We didn't feel right talking to her about it but for Christmas we would give her bubble bath, and all that kind of stuff. She never took the hint. I wish I had known how to talk to her and approach this subject so I could have helped her.

tell her you love her, you don't want to hurt her but people are noticing and talking about it.

If she has body odour or like that i will punce upon her to tell that!! And i will tell in a funny way so that she doesnt get hurt!! These are very small small things, and if friends doesnt tells this who else will? And if its something serious like if her hubby is having affair with someone then i will refrain it from doing it as it will surely hurt her!!

you have to tell him/her the truth yah i know you might hurt him/her but it's the best way for his/her to notice that he/she had a body odor.
