for every club in the english league??
for each club in the englsh league??
Over the past 3 years Chelsea have spent alot of money. I believe that it is not fair that they can buy any player they want with they money they have. It is difficult to compete with them if you put a bid on a player and they come up with a fee too difficult to refuse. I personally think that each club should have a limit of spending per transfer window. Up to £40 million.
It makes the premiership fair and alot of teams can compete. It will also make the league interesting to watch.
What do you think?? do you disagree??

I do agree with that observation of yours. But, then life is never fair and almost all the big clubs have had so much more spending power always. That's why when clubs like Bolton, Everton strive and make it big, then coaches like Sam and David Moyes are given so much more credit than the big boys.
I think there has been a lot of mulling over the spending cap, but then I don't think it will ever come into play.
Cheers!

I agree that chelsea are spending far too much and grabbing players that would have otherwise went to different clubs, a great example is Mikel. The problem with limiting premiership clubs expenditure on players is that european giants such as Barcelona are permitted to spend what they like. So I feel that the fixed limit on spending should be imposed on all European clubs.

I think the reason they do that is so that they can make money. If a limit is put on how much a customer can spend, they'll loose alot of money that way.

Well Miss Djdeep remember you are only giving ur opinion, but then I agree with you. Look at the way Morinho or (Chelsea) spoil the tranfer market, at least they've learnt their lesson, they are even lucky that they've gotten 2 trophies (FA Cup & Carling Cup) to compensate them, otherwise they should play pre-season. I hope the people concern would try and change it for us. Thanks

i think there should be a limit on the money spent on buying players..take for example in the nba, with their salary cap, each team could not have all the superstars in the game unlike the english league. They can buy any player as long as they have money to spend.what about the teams with little money?i think its unfair..having a salary cap on the league would definitely make the league more exciting and fun to watch..it will really nid the necessary managerial skills on making a winning team.not just having their hands on stars they can afford to buy..

I do agree with you bro. Chelsea has been spending a fortune for the past 3 years to form a team of skilled players. Although it is not fair, but there is nothing can be done as the Russian guy has a lot of influence and with the money he has, he can bribe almost anybody. Furthermore, lots of billionare are now keeping an eye on epl and there is also rumors that Arsenal will be bought buy a billionair. So wait and see what happens in the future.
