what to wear on a college interview?

You can wear formal casuals. A formal shirt and trousers with a belt. No need for a tie. Also, this is only a college interview and not for a professional interview. Also, you need to wear whatever you are comfortable in. You will do much better being comfortable than wearing formals just for the sake of it.

Grrr...i hate the formal clothes. Try something between the too extremes. I think that the clothes what are not usual style of the person are more harmfull then if he is with his normal ones. They make him embarassed and nervous. Try simple clothes, light colors and neccesary- clean. Good luck on your interview:-)

I would go with tie and a suite. You really want to look professional so that they can consider you for their college.
