Bank account needed!!!

Hi there, paypal wants me to get an American bank account to
be able to accept payments from them so I was wondering if you knew
about some banks that offer international memberships.
Please help me on this one.

I have no idea really. Is this something new? I have not heard of it before.

Well I live in Iceland and I used to justr accept payments and buy stuff on eBay
or something and just kept the money on my paypal account but now I can't.
I asked paypal and I got the answer that I just had to get an American bank account
because there's something wrong with the other option and they aren't able to
fix it for a while.
If I don't accept the payments they will be resent to the payer after
some time and
I'll loose my money.
