yeah, you are right about greed making people evil. this is because greed is evil in itself. then if man has power, so much power in his hands, he usually gets corrupted. money can buy power at most times thus, we can say, that the play around involving money, greed and power is the greatest evil that this world will be suffering from.

I agree with Janet, it is the greed that is evil. The need for money and as much as possible at any means.
As already stated we need money to survive, try doing a weekly shop in the UK and you'll see what I mean about needing money.
Money can provide happiness and security, the more you have the more you spend, the more you spend the more you need.

Yes, but these days, being happy is just not enough. And being not able to spend more is quite a motivator too.

I disagree. I believe that money is just a tool, which like any other can be used for good or evil, and most evil acts are actually preformed by people lacking resources, in the vain belief that they will enable them to feed their families. While I would not say that the lack of money is the root of all evil, it is a very strongly contributing factor.

Yes, coupled with a bad person @ greedy, money can be bad. But in the hands of a good person, its a different story I assume.

no, i will never bow to this. remove money and the need for it in this world and, some people will still be evil. to do evil is entertained in the hearts of men without much precaution. just study why cain killed abel. there was not the slightest issue of money there. it was jealousy and greed which has caused it. the hunger for attention, for power and how man wishes to keep on having so much more of these are the things that breed evil. we only see this now to be money because, we know that money can serve most, if not all, of our material needs.
