I find if you cook with noodles or pasta it is very quick to prepare and takes very little time to cook. My meals rarely take more than 20 minutes to prepare because they are so simple. If you want some ideas you can have a look at my website: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk

Peanut butter rice! Just boil two cups of rice in four cups of water, wait until the water's all gone, then throw some rice in a bowl and add lots of peanut butter. Also good with maple syrup or soy sauce.

I like to make mashed potato when I'm lazy to cook, coz it's very simple. Ingredients: - Potato - Milk/Butter - Salt - Pepper 1) Peel the skins off the potatoes. 2) Cut into cubes, say cut into 4 cubes per potato. 3) Boil a pot of water. 4) When the water is boiled, just put the potato cubes in the pot, and keep boiling. 5) Well, I have no idea how long it takes to boil, perhaps 30 minutes. Check if the potatoes are soft enough, then you can take out the potatoes. 6) Put the potato cubes in a big bowl, drain the water. 7) Smash the potato cubes with a spoon. 8) Add some milk or butter, smash again. 9) Add some salt and pepper to your preference, and smash again, of coz. That's it. I think it's really simple and easy to get all those ingredients. Hope you'll enjoy it.

My suggestion is to start making a simple meal. When I was in junior high, my first dish was pancakes, which are easy to make. Here is a recipe: Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 1/2 cups milk Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until brown on one side and around edge; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4. I add some butter or if you are trying to lose weight sprinkle with cinnamon.
