Common Courtesy

This one is weird, but true.
We had two men over yesterday to fix our central heat and air unit. One of the men asked me to use the restroom, no big deal, I told him where the restroom was and went about my business.
After they left, I walked into the restroom to find doodie smeared all over the toillete seat. It looked like he used the seat to wipe himself! So I got out the bleach and bleached the whole bathroom because I didn't know what else he had touched with his doodie hands. Gross!
That night, my husband asked me whose poopie underware were in our bathroom trash! Sure enough, there were a pair of mens poopie underware!
If this man had an accident I don't understand A) why he had to smear it around and B) why he couldn't carry his underware to the outside trash.
Has common courtesy not to mention respect for another persons home gone completely out the window?

OH MY GOD!
That is seriously unbelievable!! I wonder what he would say if you called and complained about it to his boss!!!
Men are disgusting but that is just RUDE!
I just don't have any idea why he would do either of those things! I can SORT OF understand about the trash...they might be a little hard to conceal going outside and all - but the smearing his stuff is just WRONG!
That is just...UGH!

UGH! Is right! I thought I was going to throw up while I was cleaning up the mess!
My son said "Look on the bright side Mom, atleast he didn't smear it on the wall!"
I guess I can be grateful for that, but man! Have a little courtesy!

That would have been terrible. But he probably did have an accident and didn't know what to do. It would have made more sense if he'd used some toilet paper or kleenex to try to clean up the mess he'd made. He should have just ask you for some paper towels and cleaning supplies and told you he'd had an accident. yuck - I can imagine how awful that was for you to have to clean it up.

I understand him being embarassed about having an accident but he could have minimized his embarassment by cleaning up his mess. So it makes me wonder if he just didn't care.
It was really gross!

OMG that is beyond rude but totally disgusting. I would have had a fit if someone did that at my house. Makes me wonder what his bathroom is like, not that I'd want to see. I would not allow him back at my house at all. I don't care if it was an accident or not he could have cleaned up after himself. That was out and out crude of him to do.

Yes it was! And I can't stomache my peanut M&M's and think about it at the same time. :( eeeewww!
We won't be hiring them again. They did a good job on the central unit, but it really disgusted me and my husband. He was the one who initially found the undies. He wasn't a happy guy. But then again, he wasn't the one who had to clean up the mess!

It was a couple of men that my landlord hired. They did the job on the side for her.
They are licensed. I would think that they wouldn't want the bad feelings if they ever want to be hired again.
I told my landlady about it. Thankfully we're good friends. She said that she won't hire them again. It grossed her out too.

I wouldn't have them back either. Did they work for a company? You could call and complain to their supervisor on it. If he's done it to you he's probably done it to others as well.

OMG!! that is disgusting!! i can understand someone having an "accident" and freaking out cause you're in someone elses home. but to leave feces all over the toilet seat??!! come on!! whenever you have any kind of accident you dont want anybody else to know about it!! maybe there wasnt any toilet paper left? still..you come out of the bathroom, ask the homeowner for some paper or paper towels and go back in and CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!!
sure its humiliating, but to just leave it there..that is beyond discourtesy! hell, i dont even know what to call that!

There was plenty of toilet paper. There were two bottles of anti-bacterial handsoap on the counter. There was just no excuse for it. It was disgusting!

Holy mother of moly! You hear horror stories about workmen that come in the house and make a mess, but that honestly takes the biscuit. I can't (well, I do believe it) believe he would be so gross and such a pig! I guess the one upshot was at least he isn't YOUR husband!
I would have done the same as you did about the bleach, and I bet the look on your husband's face when he saw the doody britches was priceless!

If MY husband did that I would have killed him a LONG time ago! LOL!
As for the look on his face, it was a mixture if disgust, whose underware are in my trash and why did they poop themself? It was confusion and disgust!
