New Granddaughter!

congrats ozzie black cat, you must be thrilled. there's something about having a grandchild that just brings on the smiles. one friend said that after his child was born, he saw his dad smile more in one month than in the whole of the previous year. that's the miracle of birth and of new life! all the best to your son David, his wife and your newest little additional bundle of joy!

That's wonderful, congratulations! It must be an exciting time for your family. :) I was talking to one of my friends about marriage and children and I said that I'd rather skip being a mom and go straight to being a grandma. You get all the perks--you get to play with the kids and spoil them, but you don't have to wake up in the middle of the night or change diapers.
