Do you have a charity or Non-Profit Organization that you donate to? If so what is it? Do you just donate when you can, or always on the same time (for example every month). I'm currently looking into a few charities that interest me and I think I'll start with one soon, I'm always willing to help people in need if I've got the extra money :) What about you?

I ring bells at Christmas for the Salvation Army. They are good at helping people. The Red Cross has helped us greatly since our housefire happened and we lost everything. The local clothing bank has also adopted us and made a difference in day to day living. I wish you much luck in starting such an organization. May you help many people and the donations never cease for them.

I donate to individuals on Fundable.org. This way I can help people with specific needs, big or small. I've even occassionally placed my own funding request on there. It's amazing to see the goodwill of people. Here's the page for one family I've pledged to help. If anyone wants to help as well, go for it.

At my job, they take .50 every week on my pay for a charity. Also, every year there is an organism call Mira (they trained dog for blind people or with an handicap and give dogs all over the world) who sell things and I buy something every year. I think we can say that this is my cause :)

I'd like to donate when I have something but when I don't, I just wait until I get something to share.

Usually I don't have a set charity that I donate to. If at the time I have the extra money I will donate to either the World Wildlife Fund or something that benefits helping those that are in need of something extra. I wish I could send money to all charities, but I just don't have that kind of money.

I would like to but just don't have the funds at the moment to do so. I will contribute food and things if the need arises though.

Right now I work for a non-profit thrift store on the base I live at. I enjoy working there. I make little money, but I find it very fulfilling. My daughter donates her time there and we donate items to sell there as well. I don't have much money to give away, but I think what we do is good for us in spirit and it helps others in the process!

It is really a good thing to donate some money to the needy people....
I do not do it on a regular basis..there are some charitable organizations which have been started by our company that takes cares of the street children...i usually give some amount of my salary to them....
I beleive each one of us should make contribution o the society...it does not have to do with money always...even educating poor children, spreading awareness about good things also contributes to society...
I have came across many people who think doing good deed means to shell out some money and give to the needy...i believe if you want to do something good...it is upto you to decide..you are the best judge to decide...it does not always have to be monetarily support...just do good deed in your own way...
I also believe that instead of giving money to organisations, one can donate books, clothes to poor people..even this is also a great thing to do..

We sponsor a child and the same amount is withdrawn from our account each month. We also help out a radio station by sending a small amount each month, also automatically withdrawn. There are others that are for certain occasions, such as Relay for Life. I wish we could do more, I like to help others.
