Do ptc sites create spam?

If you sign up to all these ptc and ptr sites are you bombarded with rubbish? Does it create loads of spam? Are you at risk from viruses?

They probably will try to bombard you with spam, because mostly that is what they use the e-mail addresses for... or sell them to another spammer... TIP : just get a good filter. I did and allthough I gave my e-mail to 100's of sites, spam is really no "flooding" in...
