we have usually around 3-4 loads of laundry every week but our laundry woman gets to wash it every other day so as to have lesser load.

I used to do 2-3 loads of laundry a day!!!! But all but one of my kids have moved out and got families of their own and my son does his laundry himself. Aren't I fortunate? So I do maybe 5 load a week now! Big change, huh?

I am not lazy of doing laundry. I do all my laundry by myself 3-4 times a week. I like clean clothes so if there are more dirty clothes I do them in 2 -3 loads alternatively thou it takes time but at least i get clean clothes which is the main purpose.

If washing machine is there, we can do laundry thrice a week as we can put many cloths in the machine at a time, so making two or three lots will not be tiresome.

I don't like a pile up of laundry, i do it when i have a full load, which is usually every day. some days two, somedays none. usually depends on how many times my husband changes his clothes lol, sometimes three times a day.

We usually do it when there is "enough" to fill a basket load for the washing machine. I think how often you do depends on how many you have in the family. The more members, the more often.

Hm I'd say 14 loads a week is average for us, but unfortunatly I still can't catch up, it stinks. I haven't seen the bottom of the laundry baskets in like, a year! We keep doing it, and it keeps piling up. I try to do two loads a day. Sometimes that doesn't happen because I get backed up putting it all away, but man I wish I could send it out to a laundry service place or something!

I wish I could get to doing laundry only once a week. But, I have 3 girls. It seems like I doing laundry constantly. Like you, I do at least one load a day. I never seem to get caught up!

I have a family of 6, so we go through about 2 loads of laundry a day. A little less some times. I try to do at least 2 loads a day, though I'm trying to catch up from being sick last week, though it always seems like I'm trying to catch it all up. Sometimes, I just wish we all went around naked because that would really solve my problem of too much laundry and not enough time to do it all!

Unfortunately, it seems like I do an endless stream of laundry in a typical week. I would normally do a load of just clothes every day. I also have bedding laundry, so sometimes it could be two or three. Usually it is one, but then there would be at least twice a week it would be two loads, so on average I would say between nine and ten loads of laundry a week, and all of it is line dried.

We're a family of five, so even when I catch up on the laundry . . . ten minutes later I'm behind again. I'd say I do at least one load per day and I have about three that need to be folded per day. I don't get how that happens, but it just does . . . and it frustrated the heck out of me.
