Who is our superhero?

Every Filipinos that could give honor to our country are hero's .OFW are considered hero's as well. There are those who makes our economy much better and also those from entertainment industry that give honors to our country like Lea Salonga. I am also proud of Manny because of his achievements and that makes me produ of being a Filipino. I am proud to become Filipino irregardless of something or anything.It is best that we must be proud of our country may we have achieved anything or not. Filipino's and being filipino is something ot be proud of.

Although those who brought honor to the country are heroes on their own right, I don't consider them much as Heroes. I think it is quite misdirected to think of Heroes simply as those who brought glory to the country. It is wrong to see only the gold. Because Glory is but just a part of being a hero. It is also about sacrifice and hardships, about enduring the pain and still pushing on despite the odds. Thus, I would like to think of those who made tremendous sacrifices without much benefits as Heroes. For this reason, I would opt to call our very own OFWs, public school teachers, baranggay doctors, honest politicians and civil servants and others like them as our True modern day Heroes. Let us not let celebrations and honor direct Fully our gaze from other people's painful sacrifices. I think the latter is a better basis of Heroism.

To me it's Lea Salonga. She has such extraordinary voice and besides being really beautiful, she has class.
