Silly question, I know, but just responded to a lift descussion, and this came to thought. About a year ago I got into a lift in a block of holiday flats. It was only when the doors closed on me (alone!), that the smell hit me. Someone got rid of some troubling gas, and I was on my way down from the 25th floor. About 3 stories down, the lift stopped and this group of guys got in. You can just imagine how embarressed I was. I could see on their faces that they were trying their best to compose themselves while trying not to breath, and barely succeeding.
I got stuck all the way down to ground floor, inspecting every aspect of my sandels. I don't do the lift thing very often now, and make sure that all's clear (and fresh) before I take a chance. Please tell about yours.

You mean apart from the usual shrill questions and comments from the kids like 'why is that ladies tights ripped' or ' that man has hair growing out his nose but none on his head mum!' , my kids do have good manners most of the time but tend to forget them in the worst case situations! lol Apart from that nothing really embarrasing has happened to me in a lift, but I can just imagine how embarrased you felt, that combined with having to put up with the smell in the first place must have made for the nightmare trip in a lift! Thanks for sharing it though cos I cos I couldn't help laughing! xxx

Wow, that's the most embarressing lift story I have ever heard :P
Well once I was in a lift at a hotel in London and
this actor came in, and I didn't know who it was.
I saw the "ohh myy god!" faces on people that were there also.
It was very weird.
