us men have a different way of handling our emotions! we wont sit on our own or cry or mope; we'd go out with the guys, have a good time, forget our troubles.
i guess that does mean that in the long term problems come back to bite us more, and yeah in the long term women are more stable but honestly, looking at everyday situations, its women that are more slaves to their emotions than men.
you find a cute kittie in a box at work. how many men will say awwww? how many women? :)

I think woman are more emotional. However, at the same time they also have more control over their behaviour. While an emotional man may just lose his control, I haven't seen an emotional women getting out of control and do stupid things.

Well.. probably what I meant was that women tend to show more of thier emotions publicly but still they have some control over their overall behaviour. While if men are emotional they tend to blow out the issue.. , that is if they are in a mood to show it off, otherwise they prefer to hide their emotions.

I think men are more emotional compared to women...They may be physically fit and strong but deep inside them is a soft and esily be squeeze person...they are not just that expressive like women...

Men are more emotional than women there is no doubt about that. Emotion is the only thing which seperate human beings from other living things in this planet. Traditionally, men have always believed that showing emotion openly is a weak point. While this may or may not be true it is important to have a method of releasing pent up emotions every now and then not necessarrily in public to lead a balanced and emotionally satisfying life. This could also mean letting one self go in alone or with partners and friends who know about you.

I think men are physically stronger than women, but when it comes to emotion the tables are turned. They just don't express themselves as women do, which I think is also a weakness and we all know facing up to something and expressing is the best way to healing

I feel women are more emotional, and on the contrary i find men to be capable of controling emotions and also to withstand pain.
although it is a inidvidual phenomenon where teh gender can be overridden.

i agree,and due to the fact that men are capable of controling their emotions better than women,that also leads to them being more practical,and not so emotional

I think that it really depends on the person. I agree that males are less expressive with thier emotions than females. But I really think this is a broad question. I mean like I said it depends on the person. Some are raised to be very emotional while others are raised not to show emotion!
