Getting government funding to start up a new business

Hi i live in Melbourne, and want to start up a new business but i don't enough funds to take care of the excess. So was wondering if you know who i could talk to about this or where i
could go?

Hey, you can go and talk to some practicing Chartered Accountant in your area or a CPA (certified professional accountant).
They will help you in making a project report and a funds flow statement, which will show the expected expenses to set up and run the business and the returns that you will receive in the coming years.
They will also then take you to some bank which finances new ventures. The bank will analyse your project report and funds-flow report and based on that it will give you loan money to start your business. I hope it helps!

Hi i am in Melbourne also, what kind of business venture are you interested in starting up? I am also interested in starting up a business and have looked at several franchises but am not sure yet, have you looked into getting the government funded NEIS, Its for new businesses
