When was the last time you worked on a collaborative art piece? Do you actively seek out opportunities where collaborative art is the focus?

I collaborate with other family members, also gifted artists both literary and visual, and a digital camera and Paint in Windows to produce some very interesting artistic creative expressions for everyone to see, use at their sites, sned to friends and just appreciate. These are very nice links and I find it very interesting that they're able to be shared through use of the html boxes. I haven't heard of shareapic.net before - do you like it better than photobucket.com?

You know since I have never ventured into the photobucket program I cannot honestly answer that question. How about you ? Shareapic is quite new to me but it favors the work I do and I like the income potential. I have offered you the link below to submit your own works of art to them, enjoy ! http://www.shareapic.net/ref.php?owner=enlightenedpsych2

I think a lot of art is collaborative even if you don't actually work with another physical person. We all bring to our art our experiences of and the influence of others, and I personally think its very rare to create a piece that owes nothing to the influence of others even if its only on the emotional level.

You're very right about that! Perhaps I should've been more specific in my definition in the post. By collaborative art, I mean a piece that's been worked on by many different artists. Like altered books or journals that have gone from one artist the next until it's complete. Or, another example is a collage or mural that's worked on by numerous artists at once or on separate occassions.

I am in a hauku group. We are going to make books illustrating our haiku for each other. It is a large group project that will last over several months.
