I want to know whether the store bought bronzers are just like Mystic Tanning?

I just found out it's $30 a session for Mystic Tanning, and it only lasts roughly 5 days! My husband bought me some (compared to the session) inexpensive bronzers because he knows how crappy I feel being pale. I am pregnant right now, and although I don't completely disagree with tanning (studies aren't really in), my honey doesn't want me to, so I opt not to. Well, I have a wedding coming up in June, and don't really want to pay that much a session just to look tan for one event. I want to know if the cream he bought for me will do the same thing as the booth at the tanning salon...

My 15 year old bought a bottle of the instant tan. Not sure which one, she probably paid 8-10 for it. One day she said, don't I look so tan??? And I looked at her, and realized she had an orangey cast to her lol. Later I noticed she didn't put it on too well on her joint areas, those were really orangey. So, I would recommend spending the money and buying a really good brand, and trying it out way before the wedding to make sure you don't come out looking like a carrot :)
