How many email accounts do you have?

When I began using email i.e around 10 years back, I had opened email accounts in atleast five different accounts. Then one year down the line, I narrowed down to using only two email accounts yahoo and hotmail.
Now I have replaced hotmail with gmail and am still using yahoo.
I use Gmail for all the important and personal mails. While for other mails, I continue using yahoo.

My very first e-mail account was Hotmail; I got it about eight years ago. Believe it or not, I still have that same account. I rarely use it though.
I can't seem to remember who or what brought me to Yahoo!, but that became my primary account for a good while. Eventually I got into desktop e-mail clients, and had to use YPOPs! to use them with Yahoo! Mail.
At one point, pictures started getting stripped from every e-mail I forwarded. I told Yahoo! support about my setup, and asked them if they had any idea what might be done to fix the problem. They stuck it to me.
After that, I started looking for another provider. The first one to catch my attention was Gmail, which was actually rated higher than Yahoo! Mail for features. Back then, you needed invites to get an account. I was instructed to sign up for the forums, which I did. I actually got my invite from a friend of Ian "Gizmo" Richards before one would ever become available to me from the forums, and that was at least a couple of months down the line.
In the meantime, I found Bluebottle Freemail, and signed up with them. I liked their "100% spam-free" bandwagon. Ever since then, Challenge-Response has become one of those things I can't do without.
I got in contact with Gizmo for a short time while I was frequently contributing to his newsletter, eventually to write a full article of free disk defraggers for his website. He asked me one time why I'd chosen Bluebottle over Gmail, and I told him that Gmail actually had my eye first, but I'd been unable to get any invites from the forums. He had one of his friends send me one.
When I opened my account, I found it to be something I definitely didn't want to let go to waste. But I'd already managed to migrate completely to Bluebottle, and had notified all my contacts. Fortunately, I found a way to synchronize the two, and combine their benefits together in one place.
Bluebottle has the C/R filter, but it limits you to 100 outgoing e-mail messages per day. Gmail gives you 500, but it doesn't have C/R. I came up with the idea of using Gmail for my outgoing provider, but was worried about what might happen if someone changed their address book information (despite my alias). Gmail offers auto-forwarding, but this feature disables POP and SMTP.
I finally got around this by using Gmail's filters. I discovered that I could create a filter that would forward certain messages to another account. I put an asterisk in the "to" field, creating a wildcard filter.
Now, I can tell someone either Gmail or Bluebottle, and they both go to the same place. Both still get filtered at Bluebottle (messages to Gmail don't get the verification request, so only I can authorize them), and I get to send 500 e-mails per day, thanks to Gmail. I use Thunderbird Portable on my 2 GB flashdrive (I also have JBMail, for use over a dial-up connection), synchronizing the two accounts and making everything portable. It doesn't get much better than this! :P

Sure thing. Do you intend to migrate to Bluebottle completely, or are you going to try synchronizing it with an existing account? I should mention that there are other C/R filters available, some of which don't even require you to move (I didn't know this until some time after I'd set everything up). One is 0Spam, which can even scan free Yahoo! accounts.

I used to have several accounts too a couple of years ago. I'd have one for close friends, another one for school work and a third one for junk mail. But I found it really troublesome to have to check all 3 all the time. Sometimes I might miss an email here and there.
So these days, I would just have one. It's so much more convenient because all my emails can be found with just one account. The yahoo account is really good as well. It really keeps my spams away. :)

I have 4 email accounts. I use to have several more but I cut it back to just 4. I have one email account that my server set me up with. I hardly use this one for much of anything but personal use. Then I also have hotmail, yahoo, and secureroot. All of these reieve ton of junk mail. I try to avoid junk mail going to my server account so I set up these others to avoid that.

I have 3 email accounts. One with the ISP, another with Yahoo where I can stay anonymous and another one for my work communications. Seems to be working well for me so far. ;)

I am a hotmail girl and that is what I stick with as my main mail. I also have yahoo and that is used when Hotmail is difficult. I have mail at a couple of sites and still one with a previous provided that I need to empty and then cancel the account. I have not gone email crazy just used what has worked for the volume that I deal with. Gmail has not appealed to me.

I want to stop using aol so I've been thinking about which other account I should switch to. I have yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc. I just don't know which one I want to switch to.

I use Hotmail and Yahoo for friends, another Yahoo for purchases and surveys and my ISP for family. Things get a bit mixed up sometimes. LOL. It's almost as bad as trying to manage all the pa$$words I use.

I have had at least 20 email accounts in the past 5 years I've had Internet access. I added the majority of these email accounts in probably the last 3 years. I just reopened a gmail account that I haven't accessed since January. I current have 5 email addresses though I only use 2 of these on a regular basis.

I've got 3 accounts: 2 I don't use anymore, and another one I do use. But that's a Gmail account, so junk gets filtered and moved to Spam right away.

I have five e-mail accounts and most of them I don't use that much at all. I don't even remember signing up for some either.

I use yahoo exclusively. I have an account in my name, and one for my hubby, one for my sister. I believe I am going to open one for my paid opportunities pretty soon. That will help keep my personal account clear. If I start getting spam from all of these opportunities, then it will have a place to go.LOL I believe I can have up to ten accounts on my Yahoo. I intend to take advantage of that ability.

Like you, I have had many email accounts in the past, some with my internet provider, then always several yahoo accounts, I think I have it narrowed down to four separate yahoo accounts.

I have yahoo, hotmail, gmail all on line. Then I have 2 UK accounts with freeserve, and then 2 accounts with virgin. I use them all for different purposes. I always put my hotmail or Yahoo email addresses if they ask for them on Websites I don't know much about, then if there's loads of spam, at least it's not downloading to my computer.
