I never noticed the rating in my star and even didn't pay any attention to the rating in my star until a few minutes ago when I received an email about a new discussion started my friend telling me that my friend's star had changed from blue to yellow.
I am confused about that rating in the star. I was searching for my star and finally found it. But still I have no idea about the meaning of the star. Anyone who can explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

Most likely it shows how many people agree with what you say and how many people actually support your viwpoints and give a positive sign. The less controversial and rude you are the more your rating is likely to be.Your star shows you are quite popular and nice.Mine is much less than you.Maybe by mistake I might have offended some.

Star ratings have more to do with the quality on overall terms, of your posts either discussions or the responses you give to ther people's discussions. The Blue star rating is definitely the highest available

Now I see that ratings have something to do with our stars with different colors. I am very happy that I have the blue star with "ninety-eight" reputation on Mylot, which is very encouraging to me. Of course, it owes a lot to you, my friends, who has given me so many best responses and rate my responses positively. I appreciate my academic friend's response and information about the ratings very much. Thank you and have a good time.
It is 23:50 in my area and I am going to sleep now. Good night, dear academic friend. See you around tomorrow.

Hurrah! Dear jisir, I am so happy that I finally find the last sleeping princess who has been sleeping in the dark forest for 11 months.
I know that you are very good in the rating system now,and the color of the star, the rating in the star as well.
Wow! 7139, my dear friend, you’re very fast indeed. I believe ten thousand is not a problem to you. Cheerios !

Hi dear jisir, two days back my network broke down the whole day. Though it had been restored as normal, the loading speed is extremely slow now. Thanks for your compliment given. I am not really as good but I always endeavor to do my best sincerely. All the time I am quite amazed to see your posting number moving very fast and now it is 7164, cheerios! I am glad to learn that you are so ambitious and confident as to set your target of ten thousand to be reached in the first half of this year. Off days are always the best time and opportunity for us to do mylotting as what you had made use of. You are most welcome my dear friend to visit the so called mythical forest.

Hello my dearest lkbooi. I am so happy that this last piece of land or forest has been found with your hard travel all the way here. Yeah, now I do understand what the rating star means and I am so happy to say that yours is 100/100 mylot reputation, which is a good example for me to learn from. I have had two days off in the last two days and I have made it move from 6969 to 7143 posts that you can see now. Days off is always the right time for me to increase my posts. I do not think that it should be a problem for me to reach 10000 in the first half of this year if time permits. Thanks for your nice job and reaching the destination, which I did not expect this one was / is. I still have to travel in your mythical forest for the last princess. Smiling happily.

the rating star show the medium quality of your posts . if you have great posts and help other users then your rating will grow . I think 10 is the best rating but i'm not sure.

It shows how many people are rating your posts positive if you have a 8, 9 or 10 star.
Otherwise, your star rating shows: if you are being rated negative, how many people are doing it, how many times its been negatived (if you factor in how slow it takes to climb in star rating).
Things the star rating DOES NOT do.
- Accurately note the "quality" of the member's posting and discussions
- Factor in the amount of best responses a member has earned
- Effect earnings
- Give a fair assessment on effort and amount of work put in

Hello my dear friend. I think that you have well narrated this topic with your knowledgeable and informative ideas in the response. I appreciate it very much and hope to see your rating star shoot up soon like the way you once had your posts did at some certain period. Good luck and take care, the programmer.

Hello, Lily. I think that you will get your star if you keep posting more and more. Be active and also start some new discussions for your friends. The more good responses you have, the sooner you will get your star. I am here to wish you good luck to have a star soon, dear Lily.
